Sometimes, even working for a start-up where we can dress pretty casually (most days I’m in denim or a sundress), it feels nice to put on a polished dress.

This was another busy week at work + with life and I was knocked down a bit with a nasty summer cold.
Madewell’s New Denim
Madewell just relaunched their denim line and it’s worth taking a look at. The most important part is that they’ve incorporated premium technology into the fabric (think… no bagging in the knees, and denim that snaps back into shape wear after wear!) I loved the photos from their lookbook and of course had to share them here.

My talented friend Aly (and her beautiful family) were in town for the past week and a half visiting, and she offered to snap a few outfit photos for me.
