When the going gets tough, the tough (or maybe just the crazy) change their hair. I’ve been going through some tough shit, which I’ll get to when I feel ready to talk about it, but it made me feel the need to do something drastic. My idea of drastic is a little more subtle than the average person’s, but this for me, is a BIG change. I’ve gone blonde, blonder, and brunette… but never red. It is now red, and it is short! I’m still not entirely sure how much I like it but it washes out so it was a safe change.
But anyway, this dress is like the dress equivalent of sweatpants. So incredibly comfortable… like swathing your body in a cozy cloud of goodness. Pair it with a killer pair of heels and a stack of bangles and you’re ready to go.

You look so pretty! I love the hair and that dress is gorgeous on you! I hope everything resolves itself soon & things start to look up, m’dear! I can definitely relate to going through tough life shit & trying to put a happy face up on the blog. Not always an easy balance. Stay strong! xo!
I can’t get over how pretty that dress is. Love the color on you!
you look gorgeous! xo
You look so pretty- I love the new hair color and that lovely blue dress. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been going through a tough time lately and I hope things get better for you very soon!
The red hair looks great! Good thought going for a wash out dye though. You never know if the color change will be a disaster until after you’ve seen the effect. Now you know that if you do go red, you will rock it.
I hope you are hanging in there. I, too, have been going through some tough stuff for the past month or so, so I know exactly what you mean. Just remember that it gets better and that good hair is the best revenge! XO
looks gorgeous, grace!
You look GORGEOUS. Such a flattering dress!
you look amazing! that dress looks great on you!
I hope everything gets better soon… :-/ Hang in there! I love the red on you, though – it’s beautiful against your skin.
I popped in BR stores the other day to check out the collection and really like their wrap dresses. The red hair looks so pretty on you! Hang in there xx
Girl…your hair looks good! I love the red on you and I hope that whatever you’re going through clears up soon! xo
Darling girl, you look gorgeous! You look great as a redhead! And it isn’t really short, just compared to how long your hair was before. Your cyber gal possy is cheering for you whatever you are going through. I’ve had a hell of a year too(cancer surviver) Remember ” this to shall pass”
I like the red! It’s really gorgeous with this blue dress 🙂
you look so awkward in front of the camera. and that dress look so wrinkly.
kim, i hope someone teaches you the true meaning of the phrase “if you don’t have anything nice to say, it’s best to say nothing at all.” this is a fantastic blog with a happy, friendly comment section and i suggest you look elsewhere for someone to pick on.
