How was your week? Mine was pretty good! I didn’t really do much, but isn’t that the norm these days? Work, walk, rinse, repeat. I will say that I had a few really nice long walks this week that definitely bolstered my mood. Honestly there’s nothing better than a nice long walk + some good music. (Right now I’ve been feeling a strange mix of Robyn, 90’s hip-hop, and Cher. Hey – it works, and puts me in a good mood!) I was going to visit my friends for a night in Westport but the hurricane knocked out their power. (Thinking of anyone who lost power!!!!)
This weekend I don’t have much planned. Tonight I’m going to a new seafood restaurant with Becca and my cousin Sarah. I’ll probably read a book or two. I instituted a “no sad books” rule for August (last month I read a lot of sadder books) and have been reading a lot of YA thrillers which has been rather delightful!
ALSO: before we get to the links I am thrilled to share that I will be moderating this panel with some of my absolute favorite authors. It’s free to attend and you can register here! CANNOT WAIT!

The images for that caftan were stolen from Emerson Fry’s website. They are an independent small business, and the Butterfly Caftan is their signature style. I am not faulting you, I just hate to see this keep happening to small companies, especially during these times.
thank you so much for letting me know. I deleted the link and replaced it with a link to the emerson fry one.
I am sincerely impressed with your action, thank you! I own a few of the Emerson Fry caftans and they are amazing. Higher price point than what you originally posted but so lovely and comfortable.
They’re so gorgeous! My sister has a few things too and I always compliment her!!
I’m glad you had a good week! Thanks for the links! ❤️✨

you’re welcome! have a great weekend!
That caftan is a direct rip-off of an ethically made Emerson Fry version: https://emersonfry.com/products/emerson-caftan-butterfly-organic
It looks like they even copied Emerson’s pics…not cool
thank you so much for letting me know. I deleted the link and replaced it with a link to the emerson fry one.
Awesome! Thank you 🙂 And FWIW I have that caftan and it’s amazing.
Thanks Grace! Miss you!
Back atcha!
That target dress is so pretty! But calling it a “babydoll” is a bit of a stretch for those of us who remember the 90s! LOL!
Agreed – I just thought it was a cute dress.
Looking forward to the book talk. Exciting times. Also, thanks for sharing the taco recipe–looks amazing and I’m already planning on trying it out next week.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks Grace! I look forward to these posts every week. Keep up the good work!
So glad to hear it!
Great roundup! Thanks!
Also, Everlane has a cute 5 pack of tie-dye facemasks for $25 if people are looking for a slightly different color palate than the ones above.
Thanks Stephanie! Everlane’s been pretty problematic so I purposely don’t link to them! xo
Just curious what you mean about Everlane being problematic…?
Always love your weekend reading!
Hi Delaney,
it’s been all over the news… here are just some of the articles that have been written about them. Racism, a toxic workplace, treating workers unfairly, etc. It’s not good. I think what bothers me most is that they claim to be such a “good” company. Radical transparency, etc etc. They have a history of claiming to be ethical and inclusive but not carrying any larger sizes in their stores. I could go on but would recommend reading the articles below, or googling! Jess Keys has a highlights about it on her instagram.

Good to know, thank you!
