Vuori Clothing Review.

I love Vuori. I have a lot of activewear (both for the gym and for life) and it is almost always either from Vuori, Addison Bay, or Beyond Yoga. There are a lot of activewear brands out there, some with hit or miss quality… but if it is from Vuori I know that it’s going to be good. For me, the gateway drug into Vuori was their joggers. I’ve since gotten hooked on the brand as a whole. They make some of my favorite workout clothes… pieces that I’ll wear to the gym but also for travel and running errands. Also: I wrote a review of Vuori’s joggers back in 2020 but today, wanted to talk about the brand as a whole. There are a lot or reviews out there but this is my take.

Vuori clothing review

Vuori is relatively new, all things considered! The brand was founded in 2015 in Carlsbad, California and they are still based there today. With pieces inspired by the coastal California lifestyle, they focus on easy breezy basics and premium performance apparel in a wide array of colors (usually a more soft, muted color palette but I love when they’ll occasionally go bright!) The brand is famous for their joggers, their super soft DreamKnit fabric (like wearing a cloud), and their sustainability efforts (recycled polyester, etc). Besides women’s styles, they have great stuff for men. I’ve gotten my boyfriend several pieces from them over the years and he loves it all!

Vuori DreamKnit Fabric

This is my favorite thing about Vuori. It is the SOFTEST, and it’s made from 89% recycled materials. Besides being cloud soft, it’s moisture wicking, quick drying, has 4-way stretch, and won’t wrinkle.

Performance Joggers

Vuori Performance Joggers are just the greatest. I am not kidding when I tell you that this is the best pair of joggers you will own. I wrote a specific Vuori joggers review but the quality is great, the fit is fantastic, they are just comfortable. They are made from Vuori’s DreamKnit fabric which is super soft and lightweight. These are not warm (I like that!) so if you are looking for sweatpants, get something else. These are a lightweight lounge pant that hits at the ankle. I have bought these in both a small and a medium (I probably own too many pairs of Vuori Joggers) and prefer the medium.

Long Sleeve Halo Crew

This long sleeve is one of my favorite pieces. I like wearing it as a t-shirt when I fly (it’s really cozy but also: breathable and cool, and easy to wash when you get to your destination). But mostly, I love it as a top layer for my walks and going to the gym. I initially bought this in a medium (and it’s great!) but I prefer the way the small fits (above).

Boyfriend Shorts

I love these shorts, and LIVE in them, especially living in Charleston where it is shorts weather more months than pants weather. I also have these in both a small and medium and prefer the small. You can see that the medium is just a little bit more baggy than the small. I prefer these to the Kore short!

Canyon Insulated Jacket

This jacket is so soft and cozy. It’s pretty lightweight but also warm. I am going to Lake Arrowhead next weekend and I’m bringing this as a warmer layer. I like that it’s technically activewear but will still look cute with jeans and more casual fall attire.

Halo Essential Tank

I am still getting used to these slightly cropped silhouettes but gosh, this tank is just so soft. When I tell you that Vuori’s dreamknit fabrics are beyond, you really have to just touch them to believe it! I layer this over a sports bra.

Boyfriend Cargo Joggers

Vuori’s cargo boyfriend joggers are a newer style (I didn’t really love the classic boyfriend joggers TBH) and I sized down to a small. I really love them; they’re becoming my most worn pair! The fit is slouchier (a lower rise compared to the high waist of the classic joggers, a slightly wider leg). In black, with a cargo pocket, they feel less like loungewear and more like streetwear. But with all the comfort that is Vuori joggers.

is vuori worth it?

In my opinion, Vuori is very much worth the money. I wish they had sales more often but everything I have from them is super high quality and really lasts. Their pieces stand the test of time! Plus, it’s versatile. I like when my athletic wear can do double duty.
