Star Print Dress.

Happy New Year, friends!!! I am in slow motion over here (hence not getting today’s post up till 11am – sorry!!!) We kicked off our Winter Wellness Challenge yesterday… if you haven’t had a chance yet, pop over to the first post and get your first challenge for this week! We’ll check back in on Friday where we will ALL report back on progress. I’m really excited. This week’s challenges are all pretty doable (I wanted to keep things light as I know I’m still a little tired from New Year’s Eve!!) Really looking forward to a healthier year ahead, a dry January, and taking these weekly challenges with you guys!

This dress is what I almost wore on New Year’s Eve… before I ended up changing into an old red dress I’ve had forever. I love this dress but it’s actually a little big, so it needs to go to the tailor. I’d tried pinning it in back but it just wasn’t working and I ultimately worried that I would endure a dancing-induced wardrobe malfunction. The issue is you can’t really wear a bra with it so you should size down, which I did not do! Oh well, it’s off to the tailor because I absolutely LOVE it – it’s the prettiest print!

And I broke out my rockstuds! I’ve had this particular pair for 5 years now. I take good care of them and get the little heels on them replaced every season or two… Rockstuds got a little overdone for a while but I have to say, they are the most comfortable ever. I wore them on New Year’s Eve and danced all night in them – I will be breaking them out some more!

J Crew has a few star print pieces! A little more 80’s feeling with bright colors.

Totally fine to go in slow mo! We all need some extra breathing room, especially in January while we’re trying to be extra intentional with the things we’ve resolved to do ๐Ÿ™‚

You really do!! (But also by taking good care of your things… I have a few designer things from my early twenties that are in awful shape as I wasn’t as careful… womp.)

This dress is absolutely amazing… love the stars so much! I just had baby girl #2 and her name is Lucy… her emoji symbol is a star a la “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.” My husband bought me the prettiest little star necklace as a push present from Dana Rebecca. I want this dress now too, but not sure if this mama has an upcoming ocassion to wear it though. Would it work for an NY wedding in early June? It’s PERFECT for NYE! Hope you had a wonderful holiday, Grace.
