I talk about fancy dresses and dramatic caftans quite a bit but what about those everyday dresses, the “day dresses” we reach for multiple times a week? The dresses you can live in, run around in… be comfortable, but feel really good in (especially when it is hot outside!). That’s what we are talking about today.

  • This Addison Bay cutie is an absolute gem. I have it in a medium and love. If you are taller than me (I’m 5’8) I would recommend sizing up as it is a little bit short. I like to style mine with dad sandals or sneakers.
  • The fit of this (under $100) Everlane dress is perfect. It comes in a slew of great neutrals.
  • I was THRILLED when this Anthropologie shirt dress was restocked. I’d missed it the first time and ordered it immediately.
  • Two amazing Amazon gems that I have and love: this tie front mini and this oversized striped dress. They are both really great and run true to size.
  • I really love this La Ligne dress (use GRACE10 if you are new). The cut and color!

      hi! It is the banana republic one, but it went on sale and then sold out in that color. Still available in a ton of other pretty colors!

    Great post. I do have trouble wearing dresses over 100.00 around the house…always afraid I will spill something on it, etc. Trying to be better about that.

    I love these tricky season clothing posts Grace. I was curious if you would be providing your Nordstrom anniversary picks? I’d love your thoughts on active wear & also eyelash serums! I’m thinking of switching mine. I saw your 2015 neulash review and also grandelash. I have used both Latisse and Revitalash. Some are part of the sale. Hope you are a having a great week Grace!

    Hi Grace – love these options! Any suggests for flowy pants or maxi skirts for everyday? I have a job that requires a little more mobility and sometimes a dress just doesn’t work.
