I am such a fan of the matching set. It has all the cuteness and specialness of a pretty dress but it’s so much more versatile as you can take the pieces apart and mix things up. Wear the bottoms with an easy white tank or tee; pair the tops with white denim or casual cut-offs. I love my dresses, but sets are so much more versatile. And there are so many fun varieties. You can go sexy in this Missoni-esque tank and pants, look like a cute little kid (maybe that is just me, only half kidding here) in a tailored button down + shorts, or make people ask, “is she wearing pajamas” with this cute set from Lake. I love it all.

PS – this Amazon set is an absolute GEM! I took my usual medium and it’s perfect.

PPS – hats off to Carly for finding this gem of a Rhode set! I love the yellow and white stripes and couldn’t resist it. Anthropologie was sold out in my size but I found it (top + shorts) in my size on the Rhode website. Shopbop has it too (top + shorts). It’s funny how all of the different sites style it… the Shopbop model looks a little bit uncomfortable if you ask me.
