What I Wore Today…

Kinda boring outfit today…  More Navy & Yellow… (shocking!  ) On a side note… this week, my favorite pair of Seven Jeans miraculously appeared.  I had thought they were lost and gone forever or maybe stolen at the gym… turns out, they just got mixed up with the boyfriend’s laundry.  The discovery was made when he tried to put them on.  I really wish I had been around for this moment… 1.  Yellow Cotton J.Crew Cardigan 2.  Favorite Seven Jeans3.  Gorjana Feather Earrings (even more beautiful in person)4.  J.Crew Navy Tank Top5.  Yellow Tory Burch Miller Sandals

Fashion Rambling: I Miss Calypso’s Julia Dress

I’ll never understand why Calypso stopped making their “Julia” Dress.  (It was their gorgeous wrap dress… it used to come in a wealth of shades of rich silk dupioni.  Everyone was a fan of it… even Oprah!)  I have it in two colors (blue and bronze) and am terribly sad that they stopped making it because I desperately want a new one… (preferably in a summer yellow or kelly green.)  There are infinite ways to wear it and it really does look great on everyone.  And packing it is a dream because the fabric looks best a little wrinkly.

Friday Fashion Crush – Norma Kamali All in One Dress

Yesterday, I attended the Real Simple 10th Anniversary Event in Grand Central.  One of the featured speakers was Norma Kamali and she presented her “All in One Dress.”  She showed it on several different models (each being beautiful, but with totally different body types,) and somehow it managed to look amazing on everyone.
