Brrrr… back in New York (and still a bit shell shocked after spending 5 days at my parents’ house on Cape Cod.)  It’s cold here, but the worst part is how muddy it is… puddles everywhere!!  Alas, the show must go on and my group of friends is having dinner at Pulino’s tonight.  (I’m salivating just thinking about their prosciutto pizza.) When planning my outfit, I wanted something warm (check!) but also cute as it feels like it’s been forever since I’ve seen my friends… but also something relatively water-resistant (if I get splashed by a car one more time…)  The Sorel boots are a life-saver as they bottoms are waterproof, and the “pleather” leggings are perfect as any rain/dirt just wipes off!
