Those of you in New York are well aware that today could have possibly been the most disgusting day of the year. I was twenty minutes late to work due to subway delays, saw mentions of “Slushpocalypse” all day long on twitter, and ordered my lunch via Seamlessweb to avoid braving the balls of slush that were falling from the sky.
On days like this, what one needs to help survive the day is a glimmer of hope. For me, that hope comes from looking at pretty summer clothes. I recently saw Jules Reid and her beautiful frocks featured on one of my favorite blogs, The Love List. It was immediate love. Her prints are out of this world, and her designs are so unique.
I particularly adore her maxi dresses. They just scream “Summer!” Throw on a pair of gold flat sandals, some gold bangles, and you’re just… well… golden!
