31 Fun Gifts For Under $25

Gift guide season! As I mentioned yesterday, this week is gift guide week. After much deliberation I have decided to make all of this year’s gift guides price-point focused. So there will be four (under $25, under $50, under $100, over $100/luxury) and each guide is… pretty elaborate. I have been working on these guides for a few months now and have put in quite a bit of work to find GOOD STUFF that hopefully is not all over the blogosphere / general internet. In the past I have done really elaborate themed gift guides (and you’re welcome to go back and look at those, they’re still relevant!) but this year I’ve settled on four really in depth guides, organized by price point. My goal is to be helpful, and hopefully share some cool new brands you maybe didn’t already know.

Each guide will have items from small businesses, Black-owned businesses, authors I love… alongside finds from Sephora, Amazon, and Nordstrom and the like. I didn’t want to segregate my guides… I just wanted to show you a bunch of stuff I think you’ll really like. And I also wanted to get these done EARLY so that you can come back to them as you start or finish your shopping, especially with Black Friday! ANYWAY… enjoy the first of my guides… everything in this one is under $25!

I was given these affirmation cards and they make such a difference in my day. I make my coffee, draw a card, and think about whatever it says. Then, I keep the card with me (usually just by my computer) throughout the day to keep focusing on the day’s affirmation. It’s a small but special thing that helps to set the tone for the day. At the totally opposite end of the spectrum, these calling cards are just hilarious and something I know most of my girlfriends would LOVE. Or how about this cute little $16 set of Follain minis!? Or a delicious smelling massage candle.

And I’ve talked so much about these slouchy socks to the point where I feel crazy and evangelical… but they are just… the perfect cozy thing!

Let’s talk beauty. The Luvscrub is one of my favorite purchases from the summer. You can read my full review here. It would be such a nice gift – especially with a fancy shower gel (you know I love the Necessaire Eucalyptus one, it smells LIKE THE SPA). This KOSAS lip balm is my favorite lip balm – it really kicks chapped lips in their tracks and feels so good, too! I like that it’s luxurious but comes in no frills packaging, so you don’t look too high maintenance reaching for it. And of course we all need this three pack of Megababe hand sanitizer!!!

And this Biossance gift set is only $25 (how!?) with two of their most popular products. That lactic acid serum is just… so good. And if you get the Megababe set of 3 hand sanitizers (or anything else on their site), use code CuteGrace15 to get 15% off.

For a creative gift, I really love this Andy Warhol coloring book… (coloring is so cathartic right now) but also, Big Macs and Burgundies! SUCH a creative way to look at food and wine pairings.

Oh and if I had a dollar for every time someone asks me about the tee and mask I made for Becca’s birthday! They’re from Subliworks. And I think a custom mask (with your face? their pet’s face?) would also make for the perfect holiday gift.

rose & neroli body polish

This rose & neroli body polish keeps selling out but keep checking back… it’s heavenly, as is pretty much everything else that this Etsy shop sells.

Sohp Shop

And while I don’t have a lot of great ideas for kiddos (you’re always welcome to check out the “aunt life” section of my Amazon shop for more ideas), Sohp Shop is such a fun (and timely company), with cute hand soaps for kids that have fun surprise treats inside of them… a great way to make hand washing FUN! Love this idea and the price is also right – $12 per soap, or you can buy a few!

Absolutely love these ideas! My friends and I are each putting price points on how much we can spend on each other this year, so this list is perfect. Including a Megababe hand sanitizer with each gift!

I bought the luvscrub this summer on your recommendation and it is by far the best exfoliating washcloth ever! I’ve tried those exfoliating gloves and loofahs but this has really helped my skin and it holds up! Thanks for these great ideas I love your affirmation card routine, what a nice way to start the morning.

The megababe hand sanitizer is such a great idea for this year! Love that the packaging is cute, so it feels like a nice gift. I love Follain and think I will get that gift set for family too. I’m not into facial spray, but I was thinking of that story Becca told on the pod of you spraying her with facial spray when you both worked at Bauble Bar!

Thanks for all that you do for your readers. I follow a couple of blogs regularly including yours but rarely comment (2x in 10 years maybe). I appreciate the way you approached the election and think it’s admirable that you speak out even if it could impact your number of followers and career (hope not!) I worked in politics for a long time and am disappointed in the way some people close to me voted. But we should never stop listening and talking to each other and I’m grateful for you encouraging that! Also for educating me on how to deal with dry skin! I have gone from acne and oil prone my whole life to dry in my forties! Have converted to AB! Thanks again!

I have such a random gift question for you…my friends and I are in a virtual book club since Covid started (it’s worked surprisingly well!) and I was trying to think of a nice gift for them and the idea of a beautiful bookmark came to mind since we’re all trying to support local bookshops, but I didn’t find anything that popped out in a Google search. I thought because you love reading so much, you must have some bookmark thoughts! SO random but I thought I’d ask…

Grace, thank you for the thorough, unique and fun gift guide! It’s very obvious you put a lot of thought and research into this list. I love it and will be buying multiple recommendations!

Also, thank you for sending it out “early” as I am trying to wrap up all of my holiday shopping very soon. I’m hearing of shipping delays since everyone will be doing online shopping this year so I need to get my shopping done early and shipped off to family and friends!

Grace, I love your gift guides, but I have a dumb question. I find myself constantly having to scroll up and down to see the product image collage, then have to scroll down to find the accompanying url link, then scroll back up to make sure I’m clicking on the correct number. Is this just the way it goes? Is it my lack of computer skills? I’m guessing embedding the links directly on the product picture is not possible?

    11.12.20 Reply
    • grace at the stripe:

Yeah, sorry – unfortunately I’m not quite high tech enough over here to embed the links. Sorry if that is a pain, I had hoped the numbers would make things easy enough!!!
