What I Want Right Now: July 2025

Making these wish lists posts can be so satisfying. Like shopping, without actually shopping. Kind of, haha. There are so many great things in store right now. If you missed May and June, go take a peek… there’s something a little therapeutic about rounding up the prettiest things on the internet. And right now? The stores are really delivering.

What I Want Right Now: July 2025

Let’s start with the thing that made me gasp: these rope sandals from J.Crew. Chic, sculptural, and just the right amount of statement. (Yes, I’ll be buying them… just waiting patiently for a good sale!

Lately, I’m drawn to dresses that do the work for me. You know the kind: easy, throw-on-and-go pieces that somehow make you look like you tried. This dreamy Merlette number and the romantic Dôen dress both fit the bill perfectly. I’m also loving a good mod moment—this playful shift and this sunny turquoise silk mini are just plain fun.

Do I need new dinner plates? Absolutely not. Am I still thinking about these green marbled ones from Mrs. Alice at least twice a day? Also yes. They’re painterly and a little bit whimsical… basically a tablescape in a plate. And how amazing is this snake wall hook? It’s the perfect mix of playful and elevated. I’d put it on the back of a door or in a powder room for a surprise-and-delight detail.

Florals are having a moment in my cart (and heart). I’m eyeing this Tory Burch tank, which also happens to be one of my top-selling items this month. (Clearly we’re all on the same vintage Carrie Bradshaw-inspired) wavelength. And this floral one-piece swimsuit is just stunning: flattering, feminine, and timeless enough to wear for years. The price is a bit high, this Tory Burch one is just as cute. It’s on sale and a much better price.
