What I Actually Wore: 8.17 – 8.23.

Happy Monday! Hope you had a good weekend. Mine was really fun – cozy night in on Friday, went out with my girlfriends on Saturday, and had a fun brunch/museum outing (did Café Sabarsky and the Neue Galerie) yesterday!

This was a big week of the Amazon nightgown. I wore it three days this week. I didn’t even realize until I put the post together. Someone’s going to say something snarky but the whole point of these posts is to show you what I actually wore. It’s not staged, it’s not meant to sell you something, these are just my outfits and what I wore and yeah, I’ve been wearing this dress a lot.

When I’m working from home or going to be on the subway a lot, this is the first thing I reach to as it’s a) really, really soft and comfortable and b) surprisingly cooling on the subway! It’s good on those hot days where you don’t really want anything touching your skin. I’ve moved away this year from professionally shot outfits (I’ll still do one here or there when I feel like I have something really good to show you) because I like sharing my everyday real outfits in one big roundup better.

Since I live in Texas and it will be summer until early December – will the Roxanne bracelets still be acceptable to wear as a color palette through fall? I’m thinking yessssss 😉

    • YES – at least I think so! I think they’ll look really pretty with a camel sweater. <3
