Happy Saturday. I have been really looking forward to tonight. A few of my closest friends and I got tickets to a Sinatra-inspired jazz concert and then have dinner plans afterward. It’s been so hot here, I haven’t felt like putting makeup on or getting dressed… it will be really good to get dolled up and get out of the house! Tomorrow will probably be more of a quiet/hibernate and read day. This just came in the mail and I’ve been hearing so many good things… excited to read it!

Dying to know! What did you get on your boat and tote?
Hi 🙂 I will share it when it comes 🙂
This is great; Watched Sienna Miller’s AD video the other day. Want that cottage! Have you watched Blackbird yet on Apple TV? Bingable for sure.
I have to say my go to top coat has always been that same Sally Hanson’s quick dry ( I hate
waiting of my nails to dry) but lately am loving everything from Londontown ; beautiful shades, great treatments. Their gel top coat is amazing! I wish they sold it in stores, but they are constantly having site promotions and discounts. I love the dress and shoes you are wearing in the photo. So pretty on you. Going in for another deep dive. Thanks Grace
I LOVE BLACKBIRD! Just finished it last night and am so sad that it is over. Thanks, Cy, hope you had a great weekend!
I hit up the Madewell sale and got a great deal on their canvas tote with leather trim. Love it
Yay!!!
Just wanted to say I loved your newsletter this week. I especially appreciate the ‘real talk’ acknowledgement that you (and me and others!) are sometimes lonely but don’t reach out, are unmotivated and just want to lay around when it’s hot, etc. Also being stressed about your new house is so understandable! It’s so exciting and yet so much work. The newsletter made me laugh out loud sometime. Have loved lots of your website posts recently too! I really enjoyed your post about wine (which I know next to nothing about), then read the other 2 on your site about it, then told my brother what I learned about orange wine from you…and he tried orange wine at a restaurant later this week, so your influence knows no bounds! Also have really appreciated your series on artists and art — it’s been fun to learn a little more about the artists and then go back to the pieces you selected at the gallery to look at them with a greater appreciation. In sum, my long comment is: thanks for all the great content you’ve put out for your readers recently – you are obviously extremely productive despite the summer doldrums 😉
Thank you so much for the note, Hannah! I really appreciate it!
