Weekend Reading, 7.3.21.
dress // bag // heels

Happy long weekend. I am in LA, just a quick little trip (I fly back on Monday afternoon). This week was quiet and cozy, which is definitely my ideal. I had just one work event: a dinner with La Ligne and Estelle at my friend Molly’s house. I read a lot (finished and really enjoyed this book), I got a massage, I made a lot of salads with things from the farmer’s market.. it was just a really nice week. And I have a lot of travel coming up this summer (next stop is Cape Cod with the whole fam, then New York a couple weeks after that) so am cherishing being cozy at home.

Really loved this week of outfits.

This emerald green maxi dress has become an instant favorite. Comes in several other pretty colors too though. If between sizes, go down.

What a pretty ($25!) midi dress from Target. They have so many great things right now…. I’ve been eyeing these sandals (in coral) as well.

An essential Pride reading list (to bookmark + keep reading all year long!)

I was craving comfort food + made these eggplant pizzas this week for lunch and they were so good! Pro-tip if you are cooking for one. After you cook the eggplant slices (but before you add the toppings) refrigerate what you won’t immediately eat, you can use that as “crust” the next day or two.

Oh wow: I love this dramatic wrap maxi dress.

“By now, burnout is a given.”

Could not love this little Amazon tunic top more. The white with black spots is a favorite.

How incredible is this Connecticut farmhouse?

Wow. What an absolute dream.

Investing advice from Sallie Krawcheck.

This is such a pretty classic slip dress.

This whipped feta dip sounds like a dream. Planning to make it next time I have friends over.

I ordered this little floral dress this week. The braided belt is reminiscent of Rhode (the price tag, not so much!).

I am admittedly not the greatest at layering my jewelry so I loved these tips & tricks from the goop team.

How to follow up on email (without being a pest!).

What deadlines due to lifetimes.

The rainbow interior of these terracotta mugs is pretty epic. (Code THESTRIPE10 should get you 10% off!)

Holy hell, this ice cream sandwich recipe sounds incredible.

The best stores to buy rattan things.

Adore the eyelet details on this easy LWD.

I thought this was a great read: how to care for your friends based on their enneagram number.

This embroidered midi dress just went on sale – so pretty and a great price.

I am contemplating these Madewell espadrilles. They look like the perfect everyday sandal.

This rattan tote reminds me so much of my Palmgrens’ one!

Those mugs are fabulous and I love that they donate to a LGBTQ+ cause, but just FYI your code doesn’t work for them.

  3. That green dress from Anthro is lovely. I’m sure the quality is great but it is a bit out of my price range. Maybe if I’m lucky it will go on sale. Finger’s crossed!

Please visit High Hampton (from the “Coolest Hotels” link) and let us know what you think. Those Carolina mountains are a much-needed, drivable escape from the summer heat.
