Weekend Reading | 7.27.19.

happy weekend! This morning I am off early early (7:30am flight!!) to Toronto! It’s my first time in Toronto (and an ultra quick trip – I’m only going for 24 hours!) and I’m going for the premiere of Where’d You Go Bernadette. I’m so excited as I absolutely loved the book AND Cate Blanchett will be there – she’s one of my all time favorites (and also skincare heroes!) Whatever you’re up to this weekend, I hope it’s fab. Have fun and stay cool! xo

How chic are these purse straps? Love.

How to use a comma. (+ also, how NOT to use a comma!)

So cool – this tiny traveling French bookstore.

Hitha linked to this article about single motherhood in her newsletter and I thought it was really interesting.

I treated myself to this Ulla Johnson purse this week and love it so much. It’s the perfect basket bag and the strap is gorgeous.

Krystal plays the Hitchcock heroine oh so perfectly.

This polka dot dress is so chic (love the back). Comes in plus-sizes too!

How to feng shui your desk!

On dealing with rude people.

Very very into this striped shirtdress!

This exists: healthy fudge.

These citrusy beach towels are amazing!

How to detox your frazzled mind.

I’m loving Helena’s new “perfect day” series.

How to apologize courageously.

Loving this heat wave playlist!

Such a cute little $24 dress!

Loved Blair’s take on the famous Amazon nightgown!

Love this approach: treat your failure like it’s a scientific study.

I’m all about a smocked dress for summer and just got this one. The colors are so pretty! It runs pretty big, the small is loose on me.

If you’re in the market for new bedding, bookmark this post!

This vitamin C serum is FANTASTIC, clean, and only $20!

How gross is it to not wash your produce?

How to make your house smell amazing (without candles).

Hi Grace! Any chance you can share the name of the Vitamin C serum? I live in the UK and the Sephora links don’t work here. Thanks!

It’s the new one from Sephora collection! But as it’s their private label that’s probably not any help!

  2. Giiirl you are always on the move! Hope you have fun in Toronto though! ❤️✨

I always look forward to these posts on the weekends! I wanted to point out, though, that the vitamin C serum probably isn’t effective. Vitamin C is not light stable, so the clear bottle it’s in isn’t preventing it from breaking down.

      Thanks Lexi!
That’s so interesting. I wonder if there’s another ingredient in there that helps to stabilize it. Sephora put so much research into the new collection; I can’t imagine they’d release a product that isn’t effective. Anyway, I really like it. I’m going to see if someone at the brand can give me an answer.
