Happy Saturday. This was a lovely week (despite so many thunderstorms?) A few furniture deliveries and an apartment that is starting to feel like home, a bunch of work, preparing for a fun event with Hampden Clothing next week (if you happen to be on St. Simon’s Island on Wednesday evening, COME – Liz and I will both be there! I’ve had a friend in town visiting since Thursday morning and we are doing all the things. A four year old’s birthday today, a fun dinner tonight at one of my most favorite restaurants, Father’s Day stuff and maybe the beach tomorrow. I hope you had a great week, and wish you the most wonderful weekend! xoxo
Weekend Reading 6.19.21
Today is Juneteenth. Here are some things I’ve been reading through this week: The Ongoing Significance of Juneteenth and Juneteenth is finally a federal holiday. I loved the NMAAHC’s Juneteenth programming (this a great primer on what it is and why it’s important) and also this list of resources from the LA Times. I also thought it was interesting to see how different companies are celebrating it this year.

re: losing social skills — I went to a happy hour with some colleagues on Thursday night. There was valet parking and I smoothly took my tag from the valet and walked away. “Miss? Miss? I need the keys!” he called out.
So smooth.
Hahahahahaha this made me cackle. I feel you. I am a disaster. 😉
