Hello from LA. It is good to be back. A few fun plans and Father’s Day tomorrow. It was a bonkers week before I left. A window seat + headphones on the plane were just the thing. It is maybe a little counterintuitive but I actually find that flying can be (not all the time but sometimes!) very restorative and helpful when I need to charge my social batteries. Anyway. This week’s list is a fun one. I hope you enjoy it. And I hope you have a great weekend!

As a child of the 80s/90s all I can think of when I see the jellies are the excruciating blisters they caused me as a kid. Is something different this time around? Would love to try but I’m probably even more sensitive as I approach 40…
Mine haven’t given me blisters but I get your concern!
We attended a wine tasting party a few years back and the hosts had us blindly taste nicer wines versus less-expensive wines and they were extra sneaky–partners were served the opposite! So if you tried to compare pinot noir notes with your partner, you were going to be discussing completely different wines. It wasn’t a giant group so that was probably key–and the hosts and another couple did the wrangling and serving so there was more than one person doing the heavy-lifting but we were all surprised by the twist at the end!
Oh I love that – fun!
