Weekend Reading | 5.31.19. - 2019 Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

hi! Weekend reading is coming at you a day early. In an effort to have a little more extra time during our month of live show craziness I’m going to post these on Fridays vs. Saturdays some weeks. Once things simmer down I will go back up to 6 blog posts a week but for now I’m trying to make life a little bit easier! I head home to New York this afternoon.

Chicago was WONDERFUL. Our show was amazing, I loved getting to meet so many readers/listeners, and I just love Chicago in general – it’s such a fun city and everyone is so nice (and the men are all so good looking?). The fun continues as tomorrow I am going to polo with Veuve Clicquot – always my favorite event of the year! Whatever you are up to, I hope it’s great – enjoy this weeks links and I’ll see you on Monday! xo

Why are we so obsessed with being spontaneous?

I bought this yellow dress yesterday and it’s really fun (and forgiving – I was feeling a little down as NOTHING I packed fit well since I was really bloated from flying/my period/too many cheetos). It comes in plus size too!

After reading about them in Vogue, I’m crushing on this new swimsuit brand.

Jenn wrote such a nice recap of our show… and I am in LOVE with the dress she wore.

This beaded bag (in pink!) is taunting me. I definitely don’t need it but I sure do want it!

On making new friends in a new city!

This little leather bucket bag is to die for and a great price!

ICYMI, loved this WSJ article about inclusive sizing.

Non-work activities that will actually increase productivity.

I packed a sample of this cleanser for the trip and love it – will definitely be purchasing!

A reader sent me this Craig’s List posting and it’s incredibly moving.

Per a reader request I’m working on a fun roundup of Pride rainbows etc. and just love this rainbow Love First tee!

Interesting: burnout is now a real medical condition.

Dating: The Perils of the “What Are We” Talk.

How to pick the perfect paint color.

In my cart: rose colored glasses.

YUM – how good does this 30 min sheet pan pizza look!?

The luminizing primer that Becca and I won’t shut up about. It was both of our obsessions this week on the podcast.

Loved this – how to get refreshed every day this summer! What a nice goal.

A nutritionist shares why she doesn’t always buy organic.

A reader messaged me this rainbow dress and I definitely need it? Ugh give me all the rainbow things!

These CBD brownies sound amazing.

Love this pretty little midi dress!

What to do when you need to remember something.

I am with Julia on banishing this word from my vocab!

How fun is this rainbow jumpsuit!? (Sorry yes, more rainbows!)

I absolutely loved the “Why are we so obsessed with being spontaneous?” piece. I was really thinking about this lately and remembering how as a kid I would always read about how “being spontaneous” was the way to go when growing up versus all of the typical “boring” adult lives that live through their routines. Well, let me tell you now how much I love my routine and how much comfort and happiness it brings me!

Very much looking forward to the rainbow/pride roundup! I bought rainbow Minnie Mouse ears at Disneyland last week, the ears themselves are black sequin and the bow is rainbow stripe material, they are perfect for this month!
