Weekend Reading 3.26.22

Happy weekend. This was a mostly mellow week. I watched so many movies, and that was just glorious. I have a bunch of fun plans this weekend. Last night I had my mom over (we watched the first three episodes of Pachinko, really enjoying that so far), tonight I’m going to drinks with two old friends and then dinner with girlfriends, and tomorrow- THE OSCARS! I have seen every single best picture nominee except Dune (who knows, maybe I will squeeze that in tomorrow) and am excited. I have opinions. This week’s links list is extra long (just so many great articles to share), hope you enjoy. (And tell me your vote for best picture in the comments… mine is CODA!)

Weekend Reading, 3.26.22

On choosing enjoyment over pleasure.

Maybe the perfect summer dress? Anthro is killing it.

8 great audiobooks to listen to this month.

Bookmarked this one: easy high protein dinners to make!

Pamela Munson is doing 25% off all weekend (ends Sunday). I have and love this, this, and this… and am coveting this!

I’m so excited for Blair’s latest collab.

I got this little polo dress / coverup and think it’s just so cute!

The right way to cocktail your skincare ingredients.

On ambition and dating… more bad news for women, as if we didn’t already know this, le sigh.

The new Kassatex x Chairish towels are just SO pretty.

I have always wanted to go to Marfa, Texas… bookmarked Vogue‘s guide!

You know I love a longer button down. This one is a great price + adore those stripes.

Here’s why acids work so well in deodorants. Also, for the record I agree and this is my all time favorite deodorant!

Loved this list of life changing books… I’ve read so many of them and would agree.

LOVE this affordable puff sleeve dress. I got the beige.

I could not love Krystal’s list of green flags more. Really made me smile.

This dress was a very good Amazon purchase. I will shoot it soon but it’s so comfortable and cute.

Quick + fancy snacks!

BRB

Dreaming of moving to this french farmhouse.

On Instagram’s next big change!

Such a fun little eyelet Target dress. These little bow slides, too.

A rookie’s guide to getting a Brazilian wax.

The best (or at least most “me”) fashion collab I’ve seen in ages. I scored the fuchsia slides!

I have been so intrigued by this temporary face tightener. Mine came this week and I will report back!

Loved reading Jen’s thoughts on one of my personal favorites, Big Magic.

The bamboo handles on this straw tote are so good.

How stunning is this art collector’s home? What a collection.

This bathroom makeover!

Jenn rounded up some of her fav drugstore beauty buys. I can attest, that mascara is FAB.

This necklace takes the guesswork out of layering. So pretty.

This new hotel in Paris… I am craving a Europe trip and this only intensifies it!

Love this little Maryland cottage!

Must stop buying green dresses but this Hunter Bell is so good!

Philanthropy isn’t just for the rich.

Can’t believe this cut-out midi dress is under $100, it looks designer. Love the white!

The best places to retire.

Loved this curation, as always! Especially liked the enjoyment vs pleasure article (all of his are so great!) and the new Instagram feeds. Thanks for sharing and being my fashion life coach! 🙂

CODA is my pick all the way! I cried so much at the end. Such a beautiful movie and all of the actors were wonderful. Can’t wait to see who wins!

Always love to start my Saturday with your musings. Do you have any recommendations for makeup videos/blogs for people who are over 50? I would love to up my game but most of what I see is geared towards 20’somethings.
