Happy Saturday. As I write this on Friday, I have a relatively plans-free weekend except for a fun lunch on Sunday. I am looking forward to it. It seems like we were all pretty tired (and also extra-hungry?) this week thanks to daylight savings time. I talked about that a little on stories and was relieved to hear that I was not alone… we’re all feeling it! It is wild how just a one-hour shift can throw everything off! Anyway. I hope you have a wonderful, restful weekend ahead. xx

Is there such a thing as liking certain things too much? I would not say I’m addicted to bags or shoes or cocktails or sweets at all. I would say guilty that I’ll buy something I see recommended by you or more if my week or day was very difficult though . That’s something as I try hard to do is to age gracefully and I need to understand that once it worked very well , but now I have to just admire it. I don’t usually spurge, but I have done some the last month . Towels , good sheets , a great bag and I decided to go for an overnight trip with my husband who has dementia . I realize how lucky we are to live with freedom and shelter and food when I see this war . It totally breaks my heart . We all have to appreciate those good moments and know in seconds our life can change . I’ve loved much and I’ve lost much , but a little escape in my head reading your blog , a great book and seeing the pretty things you wear is just such fun! Right now is the time to seize the moment with my sweetie , put on a pretty dress and enjoy the Sea breeze and a lovely couple moment I think.
Haha, no such thing. I hope you had a great weekend, and could savor the small pleasures, Lynn! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
