Happy weekend and happy FEBRUARY! (How is it February!?) This isn’t a complaint (because it was fun) but this past week’s events kicked my butt! Between Friday’s 10 year anniversary party, my mom’s visit, The Whitney Art Party on Tues and my event with Chambord on Weds, I was BEAT. So on Thursday and Friday I introverted really hard. I’m currently slogging through Know My Name. It’s incredible and important but also very emotional. I’m going to read something light and silly (or maybe a murder!) afterward. This weekend I have two birthday parties and in between some yoga and some work! Whatever you are up to, I hope it’s great!!

Thanks Charmaine! Would highly recommend it!
No spoiler here, but “Know My Name” a great piece of literary work and a story that needed to written and read, left me wanting for a grown-up girl fairytale story. Having said that, it’s a book that should find itself on everyone’s 2020 list of ‘must-reads’.
I am the queen of chapped, peeling lips. On the recent rec. of a friend, I’ve got a new elixir that seems to be helping. It is Avene Lip Creme, or something close to that. I can’t get to it at the moment, it’s in my purse which is nowhere in sight. The lip creme/balm is available in a tube or a jar (I bought the jar) on Amazon. I know, I know, that damn Jeff Bezos, I’m working on my Amazon addiction, but I needed this quickly! Have a great rest of your weekend!
Thanks Annie! I feel the same… I’m going to need a good romance or thriller when I finish reading! And thanks for the lip reco! xx
Damn. That Lee From America one is really thought-provoking.
I KNOW!!!
Loving all of the sweaters and cardigans. Im ready for summer to be over (too hot too smoky and no air con ) can’t wait for winter. Trying to justify buying sweaters when its 30 degrees. Love from Australia x
Thanks Sahra!
I did not know about the Toxic Beauty documentary and I am definitely adding it on my list to watch. I share your excitement/nervousness for watching it, especially knowing I have not been “cleaning up” the products I use yet.
