It has been chilly here in Charleston! The heat is on and I’m likely bumbling around my house in my robe and slippers as you read this. This weekend’s agenda is fun and low key. Working on a project with a friend this afternoon, dinner with my parents tonight, a walk with a girlfriend tomorrow morning, a birthday party tomorrow evening. I am very excited to watch Black Cake (on Hulu I believe) at some point. (I loved the book so much). Plus regular TV catchup (Lessons in Chemistry, Golden Bachelor). It’s going to be a cozy one. Have a great weekend! xx

loved the article on Brooke Shields! thanks for sharing
it was so good!!!
For a black mini dress to go under blazers, I like the MM LaFleur Maaza dress if people are looking for more options. I have the olive green and plan to buy the black specifically to wear under blazers.
ooh thank you, I will check it out!
Looking at it now. So cute BUT – does the cap sleeve bug you? I find it makes my upper arm look awful. I mean, if I’m wearing it under a blazer that’s not an issue but cap sleeves trigger me a little!
I have the Maaza dress and find the cap sleeves loose enough that they don’t make my upper arm look terrible. And I like the cap sleeve because it gives me a more professional option (but I have an office job, so it’s more necessary!).
That is really helpful, thank you! I went ahead and ordered it so we will see. I love MM La Fleur overall so will probably love.
