Happy Weekend! Whew this was a weird one. I’m looking forward to some downtime. Tomorrow is my niece’s second birthday party so I am extremely excited for that but otherwise just planning to chill, read, and take it easy. We still haven’t chosen our November Bad on Paper book so I need to do some serious reading and vetting! Whatever you are up to, I hope it’s great – enjoy this beautiful early fall weather! OH PS – I watched Rebecca on Netflix last night and really enjoyed it, mostly bc I loved the costumes and set design and Armie Hammer is such a dreamboat.

Thanks Charmaine!
Thank you for linking the article ” Eight months in: This isn’t getting easier.” That was so comforting to read, I’m tired of lying when people ask “How are you” I know it is just a nicety and almost like saying “Hi” but it is nice to have reassurance that it is still ok not to be ok.
I also really wanted to thank you for the article on election stress, I think setting boundaries has been so helpful for me, a little less NPR and a little more music or BOP
: )
I am so happy it resonated. Feeling a lot of the same! xx
Great round up. I love your outfit and mask
Thank you!
I feel like I am the most excited about Legally Blonde 3, I have been waiting for this for so long!

I know, SAME!
Thanks for the “Eight months in” link. I thought it would get easier in the summer because of outdoor activities. But where I live (NJ), there are juuuuuuuuuuuuust enough people not taking things seriously that I wasn’t comfortable. And now winter is coming.
I ordered the henley. I’m always looking for something snuggly and cozy that is one step up from a hoodie so I can wear it on zoom calls.
Oh good, I hope you love! xx
Hi grace! I’m commenting here because I know your DMs can get overwhelming. I wanted to rec this book called The Talented Miss Farwell. I really enjoy when you talk about art and how it speaks to you and this book was a fun “catch me if you can” foray into that world, but set during a different time period. Not quite a period piece, and not modern day as well. My book diet is pretty similar to yours and Beccas- trashy thrillers and rom com reads with some outliers thrown in. This was the latter, and a good escapism read! Enjoy the rest of your wknd!
Hi! Thanks for commenting vs. DMing 🙂 this book sounds amazing, I’m going to check it out!!!!!
Thank you for the COVID 8-months-in article…can so relate. I love stopping by your blog each day!
It’s a good one 🙂 thanks for stopping by!
