The Best Rainbow Pieces for Pride Month (and Every Day)!

the best rainbow pieces

June is Pride month! I was in DC last weekend and the city was all abuzz with energy (and all of the rainbows). Here in New York, it will be June 30th. I wear a lot of colorful pieces in my everyday life and a reader asked me if I could put together a rainbow roundup for Pride so here we are. So many good things… for Pride, or just for EVERY DAY if you are me.

Separately, while I loved putting this together, I don’t love the idea of profiting from Pride – that feels a little icky to me. (This post contains affiliate links; which means that if you purchase something I feature, I will make a small percentage of sales – kinda like a “finders fee.”) It is hard to track exact revenue by post so I made a $500 donation to The Audre Lord Project. There are SO many great LGBTQ charities but I chose this one as they are a lesbian, gay, bisexual, two spirit, trans and gender non conforming people of color center for community organizing, focusing on the New York City area. If you want to make a donation, you can do so here!

In the meantime, enjoy these wonderful colorful things – I will take one of each, please!

Such fun pieces! I actually don’t own any rainbow clothing items – I should get a rainbow tee, at least! ✨

LOL! I’m wearing that BP rainbow sweater to work today… I think Wit and Wimsy posted it on her blog last week? Well I immediately ordered it. I tried it on last night after it came in the mail and my boyfriend goes “you look like you’re going to pride” LOL whereas I just like the colors!
Can confirm it’s a good purchase… for pride or just everyday! 🙂

    Hi Grace,
I love how thoughtful you are and the fact that you made a donation even before getting revenue out of this post, I guess that is one of the things that really sets you apart from some other bloggers. Everything looks so fun but I specially love the chevron dress, the sweater and the slides.

I love rainbows too and I wear them any chance I get. All those pieces are lovely, that long flowy skirt and the rainbow bag caught my eye.

Wow, love that you made a donation to an LGBTQIA+ organization! Thank you! As a queer person, I also have mixed feelings about the commoditization of pride. But I also like having options for displaying my pride too ha!
