Valentine’s Gifts That Aren’t Lame.

Non-Lame Valentine's Day Gifts

Valentine’s Day (or Galentine’s Day) is just a little over a week away. In the spirit of the much-beloved (and hated!) holiday, I have rounded up some of my favorite non-lame Valentine’s Day gifts and ideas. So… treat yourself, treat your best friend, or send this post to your guy!

Non-Lame Valentine’s Day Gifts

Lush Eggplant Bath Bomb

Okay this is a little bit NSFW but it definitely made me giggle. I’d give these to my girlfriends, with a sheet mask and a mini bottle of prosecco for the perfect Galentine’s Day gift.

Heart Shaped Sunglasses

Another fun girlfriends idea! These are so cute! I love the bright pink. They’d be such fun party favors (and look super cute in photos!)

Nadri Stacking Rings Set

These look so much like my favorite stacking rings and are a great price. So pretty.

Jonathan Adler Pill Box

Another (semi) NSFW one but I have this “viagra” pill box on my nightstand and it always makes me chuckle (I keep CBD + advil in mine, ha ha).

Charbonnel et Walker Chocolate Truffles

My friend Briony gave me a box of these dark chocolate salted caramels and they are DELICIOUS. They’re absolutely heavenly and the box makes them a really beautiful gift.

Anine Bing Lace Bra

This is my favorite little bralette; it is just so pretty! Looks so pretty peeking out of a cute cami or button front dress. (It’s surprisingly supportive, too!)

Overose Nudesse Candle

Overose seems to be the hot new “it” candle brand and this one smells SO good… it’s their rose scent, so perfect for Valentine’s Day. As much as I love Diptyque and Byredo, it’s fun to get something a little less ubiquitous (but still fancy/high end). Overose is perfect in that regard.

Everyday Oil

The besssst oil. You can use it everywhere. Face, body, etc. You can even wash your face with it. I use it as skincare but included it in this gift guide as it’s also incredible for massage.

“You” Valentine’s Card

DYING over all the amazing You inspired Valentines on Etsy. There are so many good ones but this one was definitely my favorite.

Lord Jones CBD Bath Salts

These bath salts are my current favorite. I will say that I am not sure if the CBD actually does anything (I love taking CBD but am out on whether it does anything for you in the tub) but the lavender scent is absolutely heaven. I cannot get over how amazing they smell, and that makes them worth it / the perfect gift regardless of any CBD benefits!

Chambord Liqueur

Another one for your girlfriends (note: I do have a long term partnership with Chambord!). The packaging is really pretty, and I love making a Chambord Royale or adding it to my tequila soda!)

Gorjana Heart Hoops

Let’s be honest: heart jewelry can be so tacky… but these earrings are really pretty! I like these a lot.

Awesome picks! Those are some gifts I definitely wouldn’t mind receiving. Maybe I should leave this page open for my fiancé to “accidentally” see 😉

Yes, it’s the same thing. Sorry about that – I use it as a body or massage oil, but they call it a bath oil! In the caption, they mention that it makes for a wonderful massage oil too! Hope you try it!!

I understand what you’re trying to achieve with the title of the post, but “lame” was originally used in reference to people with reduced mobility due to physical disability. I understand “lame” doesn’t have that same bad-word sting many offensive terms have but it doesn’t mean it’s OK to use. Disability rights activists have long called for the word to phase out. We have a responsibility to respect that.
