The Best Gifts for the Homebody: 2024

The Stripe Blogger Grace Atwood shares Best Gifts for the Homebody

It’s me! This gift guide is for the person who just really loves being at home. Because for me, home truly is where my heart is. I love being cozy, having my tea, watching my shows, reading my books, and snuggling my cats. There isn’t a single place on earth that I prefer to my home, and that is saying a lot. Today’s guide is chock full of little luxuries for the person who’d rather be in than out.

The Best homebody gifts 2024.

adjustable slippers

I got these Weezie slippers personalized with a big marigold yellow “G,” and love them so much. They’re super cozy and they match my towels.

a white noise machine

This white noise machine is a godsend. I sleep so much better when I have this running, and am thinking about getting one for my boyfriend’s house as I miss it when I’m away. It’s excellent at drowning out any street noises, or (in my case) late night cat sounds.

foot massager

I got this foot massager last year and it is one of my favorite little things. Well it’s actually quite big but it’s a little luxury I look forward to at the end of a long day. Heaven for tired feet.

neck and shoulder massager

I also really love this neck and shoulder massager. Though I’m warning you, it is intense! It gets right into all of the places I hold tension in. The base of my neck, tops of my shoulders. It is intense but in the best possible way.

face massager

A lot of massagers, ha! This face massager is one of my most favorite things. There are a lot of amazing benefits. Aesthetically speaking, it is an excellent de-puffer. But it also provides a lot of relief for a tight jaw, tension headaches, etc.

cashmere socks

These striped cashmere socks from Guest in Residence are top of my own list. I love them. The brand makes super super soft cashmere, and to me there is no better luxury than really good socks. They’re something I would never think to treat myself to!

Fundamentals of bread cookbook

My brother-in-law bought me this cookbook for my birthday and I’ve been reading it like a textbook. There is so much to learn about the art of making bread.

a Fun(fetti) Mug

This company makes the coolest ceramics. I love this chartreuse funfetti mug!

a book-scented candle

This collab between Books are Magic (one of the best bookstores ever, IMO!) and Joya studios is such a delight and the candle smells very good.

customized matches

Custom matches are still one of the best gifts I’ve ever received (thanks, Jess!). A reader let me know that she has an (adorable!) Etsy shop where she creates custom matchbooks. I love them!

a luxury candle

Crown Affair and Nette teamed up on this beautiful candle which is such a special little luxury. Best part is that it has the same fragrance as Crown Affair’s beloved product line. It’s slightly citrusy with light florals and sandalwood. And I love that you can use the vessel when the candle is finished.

overnight hand cream

I am fully obsessed with Soft Services Theraplush. It’s the best, most intensive overnight hand cream. It has all sorts of good anti-aging ingredients, and when I tell you it’s made a massive difference in my hands (fading dark spots, hydrating, etc), I’m not kidding. It’s seriously good.

woven throw blanket

Carly found this blanket; isn’t it gorgeous? Also, currently on sale.

a pullover hoodie

You can’t go wrong with a super cozy hoodie. This one is perfect and it’s on major sale at the moment.

a hand-made mug

East Fork Pottery (based in Asheville, NC) has such gorgeous pieces. I love this mug.

a hatch alarm clock

I could not love my Hatch alarm clock more. At night, it’s a reading light that transitions into a guided meditation. And in the morning, it’s my alarm . . . waking me up to the sound of birds chirping and a sunrise style light. It is one of the best things in my bedroom.

satin slippers

These satin slippers are such a gorgeous luxury! I personally love the khaki green but all of the colors are beautiful.
