Styling Fall’s Best Tops.

Styling fall's best tops
a chambray shirt from my closet + the Madewell barrel jeans.

We are back with another fun styling post. Once again, this isn’t necessarily about buying new things. It’s about putting pieces you probably already own together a bit differently! I love that these looks take items I have in my closet and freshen them up a little bit. I love that each outfit combines something more tailored with something a little more slouchy. I’m still wrapping my head around Fall’s baggier bottoms; laying things out and trying things on helps make sense of it all!

Today, we are taking four of this fall’s best tops (my favorite striped button-down, a chambray top, something leopard, and a black structured cardigan) and giving you some inspiration for what is hopefully a renewed way to wear them.

Classic Button-Down for fall

Classic Button-Down

This Sezane top is one of my most favorite button-downs. I love the varied stripes on the cuffs, and I love the slightly oversized silhouette. Carly had the idea to pair them with these denim trousers (I have and love — I wear the medium) and I love the look!

Styling Chambray Shirt for fall

Chambray Shirt

I personally love the denim-on-denim look. Adding cranberry-hued accessories is a great way to keep the look fresh, fun, and a little bit feminine. I really love my Lie Studios carnelian necklace and like the idea of adding a few more things that are this color. The boots are perfect–I have them in black and love them so much; might be time for a second pair.

Leopard Print Styling fall's best tops

Leopard-Print

Leopard is back! We paired it with red, but this is not your 2010 leopard and red look. The skinny jeans are gone (I think I wore a top just like this with red skinnies!); they have been replaced by this effortlessly cool pair of neutral baggy jeans. Pops of red and gold complete the look!

PSโ€”Another fun way to style leopard is in this post from Leandra. Carly and I both loved her styling!

Structured Cardigan - Styling fall's best tops

Structured Cardigan

This look is chic chic chic! I bought this structured cardigan and can’t wait to wear it when things cool down a little bit. I will add that if you are looking for something similar at a better price, this & Other Stories cardigan looks fantastic!

Hi Grace! I love all these outfits. I’d love to read a Goyard review!
