What I’m Buying
More Glowscreen – this is one of my holy grail, must-have products. Obviously SPF is the most important part of any anti-aging routine (post-skincare, pre-makeup!!) and Glowscreen is my favorite; it makes you glow like a radiant little angel. (You can read my full Glowscreen review here!)
Bader!!!! I am so so thrilled that Sephora now carries Dr. Bader. More Rich Cream. It’s my holy grail.
My favorite candles. This is no secret, I talk about these every year but I love this candle so much, it smells a lot like Le Labo Santal 26 but at a much better price. I buy 3-4 every time Sephora has this event. Smoky and sexy and just incredible… they’re my favs.
Olaplex No. 6. This is a new favorite but I am so happy Olaplex has made a leave-in treatment. The bottle is quite small, so I need more. I just scrunch in a small amount (about a quarter), comb through, and let my hair air dry.
The Tata Harper resurfacing mask. I love this mask so much and always buy one during the sale. It brightens and tightens and just makes you GLOW, all why smoothing and refining the texture of the skin.
More Necessaire body lotion and Eucalyptus body wash. Holy grails.
Another (my fourth now?) bottle of Biossance’s lactic acid treatment. This is my favorite acid potion – leaves skin so smooth the next day, I do it 2-3x a week.
Lord Jones’ amazing lavender bath salts. They smell heavenly and work wonders on sore achey muscles. I also love giving this as a gift.
Two New Spring Makeup Favorites
Rare Beauty Cream Blush – I have always said I’m not a cream blush person but this one may have changed my mind? This one is so pretty and natural and the wear is very good. I love the “nearly rose” shade.
Charlotte Tilbury’s brand new Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara is AMAZING. It gets lashes super long and voluminous (but not spidery overly dramatic) with a little bit of a wet/glossy look. The “push up” effect is real.
Self Care Favs to pamper at home
This facial steamer is everything when it comes to creating an at home “spa experience.” It also ALWAYS sells out during this sale. I bought it for myself at the beginning of quarantine and it’s been such a treat. I like to wash my face and then use this before a deep cleansing mask to really let the treatment penetrate.
If I could only pick one favorite face mask it would be this one from Tata Harper. It’s truly the best and leaves your skin SO glowy. This one from OleHenriksen is a close second favorite!
Dry brushing is one of the best things you can do for your skin and circulation (for a nice how-to, refer to this post!) Ths brush is amazing!
For a nice take on a microcurrent facial at home (my personal favorite when getting a facial), the NuFace is king! You need to do it every day to see a difference (but we have a lot more time on our hands, right!?) but for a lifted look, nothing is better. (I also have the ELE attachment which is amazing for the lip and eye areas). I also always stock up on the priming gel during this sale.
Dark Circles + Undereyes
This is always a hot topic! I want to say that there’s no product on the market that will actually get rid of dark circles BUT you can minimize their appearance!
I love using the Supergoop Brightening Eye Cream with the KOSAS concealer or tarte Shape Tape. In fact, I have been really impressed by both of these concealers; the coverage is great. Shape Tape is a bit more full coverage than KOSAS; but KOSAS is a little bit more hydrating. The key for both is to use an eye cream to keep the area really hydrated so that you the concealer doesn’t get cakey and dry.
Holy Grail Skincare
Tata Harper Everything! Always. I am absolutely obsessed with this brand. If I had to pick just one item to buy from her it would be the resurfacing mask (holy grail FAVORITE MASK EVER).
I always forget about this “line-reducing” concentrate from Kiehl’s but it’s one of my FAV products. It really makes a difference in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, especially on your forehead.
WOW. It’s so good. If you have very dry skin and need a really rich moisturizer, it’s excellent. I love that it also lifts and visibly firms the skin. It’s a new favorite. I’m going to write a longer post just about this cream, but wanted to share it here because of the sale. I really love this brand: their 30% glycolic acid peel is UNREAL (you will have no lines the next day – it’s temporary but amazing) and their retinol is my current favorite.
Biossance is one of my absolute favorite brands.
I absolutely love their lactic acid treatment. It’s become a holy grail for me as it makes SUCH a difference in your skin in just a night. I also really love their phytoretinol (the best Bakuchiol/retinol alternative I have tried). Last but not least this year I got really hooked on this Vitamin C Serum – leaves skin so bright and GLOWY and has really helped to even out my skin tone.
Farmacy is my other fav. Their Green Clean cleansing balm is a holy grail fav. My all time favorite cleanser. I’ve tried so many cleansers (many of them being so much more expensive!!) but always come back to this – it takes off all my makeup while leaving the skin so soft. I am also a big fan of their Deep Sweep toner and this ultra gentle (honey scented) gel cleanser.
Makeup Favs
Saie Beauty. I am SO happy that Sephora started carrying Saie Beauty as they are one of my absolute favorites. The Glowy Super Gel is one of my absolute favorite products – I like to apply it all over my face for that no makeup makeup GLOW. And I love this bouncy little highlighter. Lastly, their mascara is currently my favorite clean mascara. It’s really good (reminds me a lot of Lash Slick).
Glowscreen! Is it makeup? Is it skincare? It’s kind of both but I love it so much and wear it nearly every day.
Ilia has become another big favorite brand. A few standouts are this eyeshadow palette (in warm – I apply with a wet brush and the finish is perfection), their mascara, and their eyeliner (the BEST LINER).
And Wander Beauty. My two holy grails from Wander are the foundation and the mascara. I like their eyeshadows a lot, too – really pigmented and pretty. And of course the gold eye masks… favs, and so instagrammy!
I know I am talking about a lot of mascaras but I love the tarte Sea Curl Mascara – it does not budge or flake and leaves the lashes with a bit of a curl.
My favorite bronzer ever. I’ve been using this since 2006 – it was one of the first luxury beauty products I ever bought! It lasts forever and ever.
The BeautyBlender. I’d be lost without mine. I use it for everything from blending my foundation and highlighter to fixing eye makeup mistakes. I really like this color changing one.
The KOSAS lipstick in Rosewater. This is one of my absolute favorite everyday products. It is the color of my lips but just a little better. I have a few of these around the apartment/in handbags as I can’t be without it!
Fun Pick Me Ups
this is sort of just a catch-all for all the other stuff I’m loving!
This Briogeo Scalp Scrub is heavenly. I have talked about it at length but it’s just the best. Smells so good, feels so good, and gets your scalp ultra clean.
This is my favorite blonde shampoo… and I’ve tried so many. I use it once every week or every two weeks to keep my highlights from getting brassy.
This citrusy body wash just smells so good. I love lemon-scented things, they put me in such a happy mood.
Speaking of lemony things, I am obsessed with this face scrub. OMG. It smells SO good but more importantly it exfoliates two ways: sugar manually exfoliates while acids chemically exfoliate. I like to do this for two minutes in the shower. It leaves skin so so glowy and smooth.
I am a big, big Olaplex person. I’ve been doing the No. 3 mask once a week and my hair is SO MUCH SOFTER. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it also meets Sephora’s clean standards. I also like using No.0 beforehand. You don’t need it, but it makes a big difference!
Because we need to GLOW:
A couple self-tanning favs (I usually self-tan on non acid or retinol nights). This St. Tropez Bronzing Water Face Mist is magical (you can even just spritz it on over your makeup), and a few nights a week I mix a couple of these Isle of Paradise drops into my moisturizer.
Last but not least is this Retinol Eye Stick from Peace Out Skincare. I love this little stick. My undereye area is definitely my biggest trouble spot. This adds a ton of moisture, with those retinol anti-aging benefits we all want. I only use a retinol serum a couple times a week but find this gentle enough to use every single night.
I have to say it again: Sobel Skin RX is definitely my favorite new skincare brand. It started as an obsession with this cream but their 30% glycolic peel is AMAZING, and I’ve been using and really liking their retinol as well.

Hi Grace! Your Sephora picks are my favorite posts of the year! I always discover some great new products, and I trust your honest reviews and recs.
I’m just popping in here to say I saw that Bader is now at Sephora (!!) so I scooped up some more Rich Cream, Body Cream, and decided to try out the gel facial cleanser! I also stocked up on Olaplex, some facial oils, MLM Bois de Balincourt candles, and a mini of the new Ilia Blue Light protect spray (to try. The blue light protection may be a gimmick but sounded refreshing!).
Thank you!
THANK YOU FOR THIS TIP -I had no idea! Just updated the post. So excited!!!! Your cart sounds EPIC!
You’re most welcome! I was noodling around the Sephora site around midnight and noticed it there. I couldn’t believe it and was so excited! They must have just added it.
Thanks to you, I am a huge Bader fan! It has completely changed my skin!
I think you’re right – they must have just snuck it in just before the sale… I’ve been waiting as I’d heard rumors that it would be happening!
Intrigued by the Glowy Super Gel. Can it be combined with Glow Screen or should it be totally separate?
I think separate! When I do the Glowy Super Gel I use Unseen Sunscreen (underneath!) would be too much sparkle!
This was so helpful!! I clicked so many things and am shopping now. Thank you!!
Oh good I am so excited!!
AND I spotted Bader on Sephora too!?!? This seems like a new development and I am SO tempted to get it on sale since I’ve never tried!!
I had no idea til now – SO excited! Now is def the time to buy it!
Ahhh, so many great deals! ❤️✨

Do you have any suggestions for something similar to Summer Fridays Jet Lag mask while it’s unavailable?
