Self-Care Favorites from Beauty Pie!

Beauty Pie Favorites

It’s no secret that I am a HUGE fan of Beauty Pie. I first wrote about them last June and have been obsessed ever since. I love their products so much, especially the retinol hand cream and their candles. Today I’m going to share a few more of my favorite picks from the brand – all geared toward self care and feeling good right now, while we are stuck inside.

I wanted to start out by giving you a refresher (or if you are new!) an introduction to what Beauty Pie is! Beauty Pie is a members club, giving you access to some of the best products from the world’s beauty labs without any middlemen or retailer mark ups (Did you know that makeup can be marked up up to 90%!?). For those reasons, Beauty Pie has been hailed as the “Netflix of beauty.”

Here’s how it works: there are three membership tiers at $10, $20, or $30 a month (and an annual pass for just $99)  They offer transparent pricing on each product page, you will see the typical RRP price + Beauty Pie price – saving members up to 80% compared to the typical price for the products and formulations if they shopped elsewhere.

PS – Use code GRACESENTME for an extra $50 allowance in your first order!

Before we get into the post I did want to share the two products I constantly repurchase from Beauty Pie.

The first is the Super Retinol Anti-Aging Hand Cream.

I have raved and raved about this before but it is a must: my favorite hand cream, and with consistent use your hands DEFINITELY look much younger and fresher. Especially with all the hand washing we’ve been doing! It’s a must – I’ve definitely been going through it much quicker than usual. It is a rich, deeply-hydrating anti-aging hand treatment, fantastic for fine lines and dryness and is formulated in Switzerland. It would ordinarily retail for $50; members pay $7.48!

The second is the Clean House Candle.

Just trust me on this one… this candle smells so good. Like soap or freshly done laundry. It will make it smell like you’ve just done laundry (a novelty for me as I don’t have laundry in my apartment). I like to always have a few on hand. Since the fragrance is universally appealing (who doesn’t love fresh laundry!) it makes a great hostess gift. This would ordinarily retail for $50 but members pay $20.47

Two new-to-me products I tried this month are the Dr. Glycolic Multi-Acid Micropeeling Pads and this Japanfusion Bio-Ceramide Moisture Mask. You probably know by now that I am a BIG fan of the peel/exfoliate and then deeply hydrate combo. The two of these products together make for a perfect little mini spa night in.

I was really impressed with the Dr. Glycolic Multi-Acid Micropeeling Pads:

They contain 6.5% glycolic acid and exfoliate + brighten. The fine lines on my forehead are noticeably less visible after using them. They sweep away dead skin cells and also reduce clogged pores. Think of them as a fancy Stridex pad… remember those? (Would typically retail for $32; members pay $10.29!)

After the peel pads, I like to slather on a nice thick layer of the Japanfusion Bio-Ceramide Moisture Mask. It’s very similar to other moisture masks I’ve talked about here in that you can wear it on the plane, sleep in it, or just leave it on for ten minutes and then tissue it off. (Would typically retail for $100; members pay $13.18!)

Next up is their new QI Energy Brightening Eye Fix! I love how awake this makes me look! It’s different from a lot of the other brightening eye creams I’ve tried (and also loved) in that it doesn’t have makeup type of ingredients in it. Instead, this one relies on ginseng root and ginger to brighten. Beauty Pie describes this as “like a strength training session, yoga class, and lymph drainage massage, all for your eyes.”

It’s also nice and lightweight and perfect under makeup. (Would traditionally retail for $50; members pay $10.96)

Bahia de Miel Candle

The other thing I stocked up on this month was…

MORE CANDLES.

I have a candle problem but honestly, there are more serious problems to have right now!

I was really excited to see that Beauty Pie has launched a few more candle fragrances since my last order and it’s no surprise that I love them all. Right now I am burning the Leather, Violet Leaves, and Labdanum Candle. Honestly, this one just smells expensive. I’ve described candles before as a “sexy library,” and that’s the case with this one. The tobacco is luxurious and masculine but the violet notes temper it to make it a little more feminine.

The next is the new Bahia de Miel Candle. The top notes on this one are pressed basil and liquorice milk, but when I smell it, I get honey, vanilla, and a tiny bit of musk. LOVE.

My favorite of all though is the Sweet Tobacco, Cedarwood, and Vanilla Candle. This combines two of my favorite fragrance profiles: woody and gourmand. I love it SO MUCH. It’s intoxicating.

Bahia de Miel Candle

Last but not least: the Super Moisture Shea Butter Lip Balm is WONDERFUL. So creamy and hydrating and great for chapped lips.  (Members pay $7.56; would traditionally retail for $20!)

I’m happy to see this post. I was wondering if you were still loving their products. I absolutely LOVE Beauty Pie! Their products are amazing and I have so many in regular rotation. The glycolic socks were perfect for quarantine and a very satisfying foot peel! I’m really excited to try the new lip crayon and cream shadow stick!!

YES I love them so much. I probably don’t talk about them as much as I should as the concept is so unique and requires a dedicated post to explain it!

And thank you for the reminder: I just ordered the glycolic socks!

This sounds amazing. Do you know if it’s a “clean” brand? How does the mask compare to summer Friday’s jet lag? Thanks for your review!

Yes, they are clean! I get asked this a lot so wanted to point out that it’s listed at the otp of their site!

I would say this mask is very similar to the Summer Fridays mask! It’s super hydrating and really plumps up the skin. I love them both, you can’t go wrong with either.

    Hi Grace,
I did beauty pie for awhile and really like their products ( love that face mask and the Japan fusion toner!) The value is great and the amounts are generous. Their other product if you haven’t tried yet, is great for dry skin is their Plantastic moisture balm. It’s rich and thick and smells great. Off topic, Have you seen the Netflix show “My crazy ex-girlfriend”?. I am late to the game, but it’s crazy, funny and musical!

Grace. You introduced me to Beauty Pie last year and I’m still a fan. In fact. As I write this my Beauty Pie delivery is sitting in my garage waiting for my husband to unbox it. I got some Mother’s Day gifts for neighbors this month and a few items for me. Beauty Pie. Always a good deal. Thanks Grace

Heard great things about the products. I tried to sign up but after reading the cancelation policy I seriously got confused. I will try again tomorrow maybe the wording will make better sense to me. This would be my first “subscription” service.
