I’m going to go ahead and relish in how happy and relaxed I look in these photos (always the case in Charleston!) as today is moving day and I am sure I look anything but relaxed! I couldn’t be more excited and happy though. Moving in New York is always insanity and a bit of a nightmare, but when it’s done it’s the best feeling ever. I stopped by the new place every day this week to drop things off, take measurements, and explore my new neighborhood and it’s all just so wonderful. I’ve been craving a change and I feel like this is going to be just the thing – and as I said last week… I’m out of my mind excited to decorate and make the space feel really cozy. This is the biggest space I’ve ever lived in, and I can’t wait to have some fun and make it a true “bachelorette pad.”
As I mentioned earlier, this trip I stayed at The Restoration Hotel in Charleston. It’s always hard to pick a favorite hotel (there are so many great ones) there but this is definitely one of my top picks. The decor is on point, the staff is amazing and friendly, annnnd it’s also home to my favorite coffee shop in the city: The Rise Coffee Bar! Melissa and I met up early one morning to take these photos and they just make me so happy as I love this sunny little spot… if you are in Charleston, it’s a must – their cold brew is amazing! For more recs, be sure to reference my Charleston Travel Guide. I update it after every trip and pride myself on knowing the city pretty well at this point.
Anyway – happy Friday and happy weekend! I am underwater today (thank God for being able to schedule posts!) but will be back tomorrow with lots of fun links… and follow along on my instagram story for all of the moving madness. Wish me luck! 😉
