Rich Burgundy Pieces for fall

Rich Burgundy Pieces

Every year, wine-colored hues prevail. And every year (without fail!) the color is rebranded in some sort of vein as if it is something new and exciting. It does make me laugh a little. Remember how Oxblood was the big thing last year? This year, it’s burgundy or merlot. I’m seeing “plum” a lot too.

You probably have a few wine-hued pieces in your closetโ€”I know I do! But if you didn’t get the memo, it’s time to pull them out. I personally love wine hues as a neutral. In place of black or brown, swap in a burgundy loafer or bag. (This color pairs extremely well with both black and brown; just make sure whatever brown you choose is different enough from the burgundy!). I wanted to round up a few personal favorites. Cozy sweaters, amazing accessories… a few good dresses. Love them all!

My personal favorites are these Madewell boots (just got them, love!), these Mansur Gavriel glove flats (so chic), this cozy ($50) sweater, classic loafers (at a great price), and a great little dress to wear with knee high boots.
