Fall Shoe Edit

Over the next month or so, we will be publishing our fall shopping guides, as well as styling posts around how to wear (what we believe are) the key styles of the season. We are starting from the (literal) bottom: shoes!

Grace:

I am all about comfort right now. I have been collecting sweet little mary janes (this velvet pair and this creamy leather pair are among my favorites) and feminine minimal ballet flats (this pair from Vince is a favorite, same with these satin slime green flats!) like candy. And I can’t WAIT to pull out my favorite Boden loafers from last year (I have them in a few different colors and love them so much). With regard to heels, I am not-not wearing my heels but have been favoring comfier styles and flats. That being said, this pair of sandals from the Maryam Nassir Zadeh J.Crew collab are amazing and super comfortable and I really like the idea of trying out a pair of mesh heels.

Carly:

Ask anyone and they will immediately tell you that my favorite color is brown. Thankfully, the fashion gods have granted my deepest wish this season and have deemed brown the color of fall! These suede mary janes are the perfect golden brown and these chelsea boots give anything leather a run for their money. I’ve been eyeing these square toe flats (currently on MAJOR sale); the plum is so unique and pairs well with so many colors! I can’t stop thinking about these Sam Edelman flats. When I came across them my jaw DROPPED at the price – you’d think they were designer! They are so funky, yet understated.
