My Six Minute Makeup Routine.

My Six Minute Makeup Routine

I have been getting some requests on Instagram for my everyday makeup so I wanted to make a little tutorial! I posted a reel over on Instagram to show the steps but all products and shades are below. This is very quick, for days where I want to look polished without a ton of effort. I recorded myself doing this and it took me six minutes!

My Six Minute Makeup Routine

one //

I like to start out by applying the Dr. Bader x Victoria Beckham primer all over my face. You don’t have to do this (and there are less expensive primers too – this one from RMS is also nice!) I apply this over, right now I’ve been using the Rare Beauty foundation brush to do it.

two //

concealer. I just apply it under my eyes, around my nose, and to my chin. I use Milk Makeup’s Sunshine Concealer in No. 2. I blend with the Artis Oval 4 Brush and then go over it with a Beauty Blender.

three //

Saie Bronzer and Brush. I apply this all over my face for a healthy glow. We don’t contour over here.

four //

I use Rose Inc Brow Gel in shade 2 to fluff up my brows, provide a little hold, and add a slight tint.

five //

I line my waterline with Ilia’s eyeliner (I love all the colors but the brown and grey are my favorites). This is the only eyeliner that works for me – it’s the best!

six //

I apply Bobbi Brown’s Shadow Stick in “golden pink” all over my lid. Blend with the Artis circle brush.

seven //

Apply blush to hairline and apples of cheeks. I love Westman Atelier in “petal.” I blend it with the same brush I use for the primer. The brush is a little wet from that and I think it blends with the blush nicely.

eight //

Mascara. Right now my two favorites are the Ilia one and the Beautycounter one. They yield pretty much the exact same results except I find the BeautyCounter one stays on longer (but is also harder to take off.) This time I used BeautyCounter.

nine //

Apply the Dr. Sturm Glow Drops to temples, brow bone, cupid’s bow, and bridge of nose! Blend with your Beauty Blender.

ten //

Most days I just love a clear gloss. This one is the Haus Laboratories Oil Stain in “neutral.” I love it, it’s really moisturizing but also super shiny!

You look gorgeous, and I am a Beautycounter consultant, so I love that you are using cleaner and safer products. That being said, I have to suggest you try to the Merit mascara ( and the rest of their products). Merit mascara is safer and tubing so it comes of easily and doesn’t smudge at all during the day. I want to like Beautycounter mascara (obvs) but they haven’t done it for me yet. Happy holidays!

Hi! How do you like the Rare Beauty foundation brush? Also curious if you have tried any other products from that line. Thanks!

Hi! I like the brush a lot. I’ve tried most of the line and was underwhelmed. But the brush was great!
