MY GUIDE TO AMAZON PRIME DAY 2024

Happy Prime Day! This is always a big shopping day over here! As an Amazon affiliate, I was given early access to what this yearโ€™s deals would look like. It took me hours to comb through everything (hundreds of pages of deals!) but I am glad I did as I am IMPRESSED! So many of my/our favorite things are on major deal. Here is my edit, broken down by category of what I think are this year’s best deals. I really hope it’s helpful and that you can find what you need!

As with years past and: per your vote in theย Facebook group, I am donating 50% of todayโ€™s affiliate revenue toย Everytown. Everytown for Gun Safety is a grassroots organization that works to prevent gun violence through a variety of initiatives. I’ve supported Everytown quite a bit in the past and am thrilled to support them again this month using my Prime Day earnings.

Beauty

Personally, I think that Prime Day’s beauty deals are the best reason to shop the sale. This year’s beauty deals do not disappoint. Last year’s best-selling beauty deal was Sunday Riley’s C.E.O. Glow Oil (I love this!) and I’m happy to tell you it’s included again this year.

My favorite toiletries bag is included (read this longer review with why I love it so much!). These overnight sheet masks (a little annoying to apply but the results are WORTH IT… I recommend reading for an hour before you fall asleep – that will set it). Supergoop has some great deals as well; both Unseen Sunscreen and Glowscreen are included. And you know I LOVE my Bum Bum Cream. The body spray is great too, anytime I wear it I get asked a million questions about what fragrance I’m wearing.

These lip balms from Julep are so great (I included them here in this roundup of the best drugstore lipsticks). I also LOVE this styling cream when I air dry my hair. It leaves my hair soft and frizz free (a big deal in this humidity!). These scrubby washcloths are FAB and get your skin so smooth! I ordered a new pack today. Lastly, while sleeping in a sheet mask is annoying, these sheet masks are worth that extra effort. They leave your skin looking amazingly plump, hydrated, and glowy. I try to read for a full hour before I go to sleep, that way the mask can dry a little bit and won’t slide around in my sleep.

Also, a few late adds:

my favorite magnesium supplement (I try to take this every night before bed – it helps with both sleep and regularity!) is 30% off. I bought more. The Dyson Airwrap is 20% off! All Necessaire products are 20% off (so glad they made a giant bottle of my favorite body wash).

Clothing & Accessories

There are also a SLEW of great clothes included this year. I was impressed, I personally think the clothing deals are better than they were last year. This dress is so pretty and this top looks much better in person (rare for Amazon but it’s true!). I have this knit set in three colors (it is my favorite for long flights!) and I’m ordering this striped t-shirt pullover.

A late addition: this is my favorite inexpensive t-shirt and right now it is $6! $6!!!! Wow.

Everyday Favorites

Amazon is my go-to for the everyday things. Boring stuff! First of all, if you do not have this Bissell green carpet cleaner, it is a must. It’s saved my furniture and rugs from my pets (and also myself, it has gotten tough coffee and wine stains out of my couch). I cannot recommend it enough, I use it every week. Speaking of pets, the Chom Chom is the greatest for pet fur (it’s also a great gift for the pet-owners in your life). Also my cute slippers are included. Same with my favorite humidifier. In the colder months, I have three going (one in the bedroom, one in the living room, one in the dining room by my plants) at all times.

Personally, I’m stocking up on these Swedish dishcloths, Crest White Strips, and more hangers (these are all I use!). Boring but necessary.

Home & Tech

Loads of fun things across home & tech. Last year I bought these glass containers and I love them. This veggie chopper is a MUST. It chops my onions perfectly, gets tomatoes into perfect cubes for bruschetta… I love it! For whatever reason, chopping was always a big barrier for me with cooking and this frees me to do the things I really like. On the more expensive end of the spectrum, the Vitamix. Also! I’m buying this drone camera to use with my boyfriend’s kids.

Drawer organizers. A Dyson! Last year’s big purchase, my Kitchenaid (I love it so much and can’t believe I went as long as I did without one). And the best travel adapters. I am buying a couple more just in case, I always seem to leave one behind when I travel.
