I really, really love how these photos turned out. It was really windy so at first, I was like “SHIT,” (because whenever we shoot in the wind someone tells me I need a hairbrush) BUT we actually used the wind to our advantage – Carter had me twirling in the middle of the intersection so I looked a little crazy to anyone passing by, but it made for great photos!
If you watched my #makemysize video with Katie, then you may remember this jacket. Veronica Beard has definitely been one of my favorite discoveries to come from my inclusivity challenge. Also, her store in Soho is DIVINE. Like, I would live there. The decor is beautiful and the clothes (especially the jackets!) are so good. She’s known for her “dickey jackets” and the fit on those is spot on. I especially love the double breasted styles. I take my usual size (a 6) and the fit is absolutely perfect. If you run wider through the shoulders I would size up as they are quite fitted. I tried on this jacket and just fell in love. It’s definitely a splurge (all of her clothes are, to be honest) but it’s something I will have forever and I feel like a million bucks every time I put it on.
I hope you guys had a great weekend. I had a fun brunch at Bar Beau on Saturday (SO GOOD), dinner with friends Saturday night, and a lot of relaxation yesterday. Also, I read an entire book in basically one sitting, treated myself to a really good bagel, and went for an hour long walk along the river. Perfect little day.
And just in case you missed yesterday’s (idiot proof!) makeup tutorial, you can check that out right here!

Wow, I love these photos too! The first one really popped, especially with the yellow can (?) and your red shoes! Very cute! ❤️✨

Yes!!! She is (haha once again) the reason I bought this one!!!
That’s such a beautiful jacket! And it looks amazing with the red shoes. It might’ve been a splurge but I think outerwear is definitely worth it.
couldn’t agree more! I NEVER regret any of my more splurge-y jackets and blazers!
What kind of bra do you wear with the cami?
depends on my mood – in this particular case i was wearing this anine bing bralette in black! https://shopstyle.it/l/2oZZ
You look beautiful <3
Thank you!
Wait, someone says to brush your hair when you have a dream beyonce-wind hair moment? People are cray, cray!

thank you!
I need this blazer! I’ve loved it since you featured it on the “make my size” video. 🙂
aw so glad you watched it! Such a good piece.
I know someone already mentioned this, but I also can *totally* tell a difference in your posture lately! I am a total sloucher (I blame my 9-to-5 desk job and Instagram addition), and you’re totally inspiring me. High five!
Thank you so much Hannah!! Made my day!
Love the blazer look on you! Also love how you styled the outfit with a pop of color! I’ve been eyeing that handbag lately, it’s such a beautiful piece! Do I need to bite the bullet?

I think you do! I bought mine last summer and love it SO MUCHHHH.
LOVE this blazer. I really want one of the linen ones in this style. I visited NYC for the live show (and to see one of my best friends) and bought a navy scuba jacket at the Madison Avenue store that Monday. It is the most expensive item of clothing I have ever purchased but I’m obsessed, and it’s cost per wear is decreasing by the day. I’m a size 12/14 so I often am intimidated to go into boutiques but the women were wonderful and that store was gorgeous, too. I knew from Katie’s stories that they would have my size. Keep spreading the word!
Awww thank you for making the trip for the live show!!!!
That store is so wonderful; I am obsessed!!!! Really happy that you felt the same way.
This is such a pretty outfit. I love statement blazers and red shoes with mid heels immediately add an interesting touch. This is probably my favorite outfit from you.
Thank you so much Noemi!
