How was your weekend? Mine was pretty busy but really fun! I had a nice little night in on Friday (unintentionally as I got ghosted ew) which ended up being v v necessary. I ordered in Silver Rice (FAV) and finally watched my good friend’s documentary (Cuban Food Stories – it’s incredible). On Saturday I had brunch at Palma with my new friend Sarah and got to see an early screening of The Hustle (reactions are under embargo so I’ll share more once I’m allowed, but definitely go see it!). Yesterday I had brunch in the city at the St. Regis with the cast of The Hustle and then just came home and worked a bunch. OH AND GAME OF THRONES DUH! The best. I can’t even talk about it.
You know I love a good embroidered dress and this one is a favorite. If you follow me on Instagram stories you have seen it a lot – I also wore it in Mexico and LA. I will say that it runs very big so size down. I’m wearing a small and it’s loose on me so the XL would probably fit plus or XXL. I paired it with my favorite Loeffler Randall sandals (I have these in pink, green, AND tan – eesh). They’re so comfortable and chic.
Last but not least!!! Sephora’s VIB sale just started! I put up a list of all my picks from the sale here – happy shopping!
Outfit Details: Figue Dress (also here, cute under $100 versions here + here, plus size version here!) // Loeffler Randall Heels // Mansur Gavriel Clutch (really, really old! This Burberry one is very similar or you could get the look with something like this) // Celine Sunglasses (my exact pair)

I’ve been seeing embroidered dresses like this around lately! I think they’re great for a laid-back look. They look so flowy and comfortable. 🙂

That’s my favorite part of them – they’re so comfy!
That’s a gorgeous dress, I love this boho style, it looks so summery to me. And those shoes look super soft, velvet is the best fabric, I could have an entire wardrobe filled with velvet haha
They actually are so so soft!!!
these sandals are growing on me, the more I see them, the more I want a pair.

They are the best! Started with the pink a couple years ago and have gradually built a little collection!
You’ve got such great style! The dress is beyond pretty but I am obsessed with the clutch. So simple and chic, it balanced the outfit perfectly!

thank you so much!
That dress is fab!! It’s perfection on you!! Also, I cannot get over GOT last night. I couldn’t even get to sleep last night because omg! Such a good show!!
I couldn’t sleep either!!!!!
This dress is SUPER cute on you, Grace!
Sounds like such a busy weekend, but definitely fun!

Thank you Dana! Hope you had a great weekend too!!!
Love this outfit, Grace! I snagged a pair of Loeffler Randall mules on sale, inspired by a pair you wore sometime last year, and they are my new *favorite* thing. So comfortable, and they add a little ‘fancy’ to a basic outfit.
Thank you so much Keira! Couldn’t agree more, they are the best way to fancy up an otherwise boring outfit.
I love this look on you so much! What a great transitional dress for spring – it looks so comfortable but so stylish.
And I finally bit the bullet and got a pair of your LR shoes in black and I LOVE them! I’m mostly in jeans and tees and they are perfect for my “dress-up” days.
Thank you!!! I think I need black next! xx
In addition to loving this look, I just have to say YOUR. LEGS. LOOK. AMAZING.
Sorry for being weird, but I know we all like a compliment every once in a while. 🙂
That is so nice and not weird at all – THANK YOU! xx
I’m such a sucker for embroidered pieces! Little details like that really make a difference!

Totally agree!!!
This is such a great dress! And I have to agree with another comment…your legs are great!!
(I have a technical question about undergarments…I have a similar dress and I shy away from wearing it because I’m worried it’s too see-through when the light catches it just right. Do you wear a slip? Or just think to heck with it and go for it!?)
Thank you so much. I don’t really put a lot of thought into undergarments. I wear black lace boy shorts from Hanky Panky and don’t stress it too much.
Oh my goodness I am absolutely in love with this dress! I found a tunic that looks pretty similar to that at the thrift store, but I’d rather it be a dress… Thanks for sharing!

Aw good! Maybe you can make the tunic into a dress?
Oh I need this dress!

Hi Grace! I love everything about this look – the dress (love how the embroidery pops off the dark color), the bag (swoon), and the shoes! One question about them…do you wear velvet year round? One of my friends asked me about suede the other day, and I told her I think it’s a year round material. But velvet has always given me pause for some reason. I LOVE how you paired them with this dress. And I agree with another reader…I want a pair now after seeing you in them so many times! Also, ditto on your legs. 😉 xo – Erin
Yes I do, but these are def Spring/Summer shoes!
