Chartreuse Favorites

Chartreuse Favorites by The Stripe blogger

I love Chartreuse. I’ve never had my colors done, but chartreuse is one of those colors that looks like it might be deeply unflattering, but somehow makes me glow. I feel the same way about turquoise, emerald green, cobalt blue, and red-orange. (Those colors are considered more conventionally “pretty,” that is to say, that all of these colors seemingly work well with my coloring.)

I have quite a few fun chartreuse pieces in my wardrobe, from this Savette bag to this (Amazon!) wrap blazer. This Cynthia Rowley dress was a must for me. I love the swingy, easy shape (and that it doesn’t fit too closely to the body — critical in the Charleston heat!). If you’re looking for something more affordable, this Zara dress is a steal. I just got it and really like it. I sized up to a large and I’m glad I did, as with a lot of Zara pieces, it’s cut more narrowly through the hips. To give it a little shape, I’ve been wearing it with this beaded belt from Sezane.

I love wearing chartreuse with other bright colors, such as turquoise, daffodil yellow, and tangerine orange. It also looks fabulous with classics like white and navy blue. Most recently, I’ve been pairing it with pale pink, as seen with these earrings or in the outfit I’m wearing in this post with these platforms.

Outfit Details: Cynthia Rowley Dress, Savette Purse, Nomasei Heels (use GRACE15 for 15% off), Juju Vera Shell Earrings
