If you are like me and love gourmand fragrances, you simply must try Korres Aegean Bronze. It smells like burnt sugar and vanilla in the best possible way. Like Bath & Body Works’ Warm Vanilla Sugar (RIP, the fragrance of my youth) but for grownups. As you spritz it on, you get the most subtle note of citrus. But then almost immediately, the fragrance warms up, with delicious notes of brown sugar, vanilla, and musk (all my favorite things)

There is something so dramatic and elegant about black & white pieces. If I have a fancy event on my calendar and I’m not sure what to wear, I’ll often reach for something black and white, like the dress above (I wore this to a fundraiser and felt great in it!). It’s timeless and effortless, and feels more “me” than a little black dress. Truthfully, I’ve always felt that black near my face looks a bit harsh; this is a nice way to get that same polish without washing me out!
As I said in my “Mini Madness” post, I’ve already decided that mini dresses and a fun pair of heels is a favorite staple outfit for me. Don’t get me wrong, I love flowy maxi skirts and breezy midis—but mini dresses are so much fun. They make me feel very sixties glam. Plus, they’re perfect for hot summer days (especially in Charleston!), where too much fabric = hot, sweaty mess. Aside from how easy they are to wear, they’re equal parts playful and put-together.
