Suede Staples

If there was one thing I noticed most in Paris, it was all of the gorgeous suede pieces I saw! I felt very on trend because I already had this Sezane jacket (it is a favorite), but during the trip, the brand also gave me this one with a drawstring tie. They are both gorgeous, but if I were to choose a favorite, it would be my original shirt jacket, simply because it’s a little lighter. If I were still in New York, I might feel differently. I also packed this suede dress for my trip. Perfect layered over a turtleneck! It was the first time in a while that I felt like I had packed appropriately. Remember Venice? That was a bit of a disaster, ha ha. Regardless, I have suede on the brain in a big way, so today I wanted to share a few more suede pieces I’m loving!

The Up Next Edit, Vol. 1

When Carly asked if she could add in a Gen-Z approved edit, I thought, absolutely, how fun! I love seeing what she has her eye on. Funny enough, this Rachel Comey scarf has been lingering in my cart. Same with the leather mini dress. Grace and I share a funny little crossroads when it comes to our style. Some days it leans more Grace, other days it swings my way, but it’s always fascinating to see where our taste overlaps—and where it doesn’t. Lately, that balance has pushed me to shop a little braver and reach for pieces I wouldn’t normally consider.

Media Diet, October 2025

We started this last month and it was a hit! I watch so much film and television that I thought it would be fun to start a monthly column to talk about it! I’d love for you to leave your recommendations (and what you’re excited about watching), as I love hearing your recs! I decided to abandon Black Rabbit. I wanted to love it! I love dark! I love Jude Law and Jason Bateman. But I found myself dreading watching it, which tells me it’s time to DNF. Luckily, this was a really good month of television. There was lots of other good stuff to watch.

Under $200 Finds

Great style does not have to mean spending tons of money, which is why it’s so important to me to highlight shopping finds in a range of price points. One thing you may not know is that I have a “great style under $200” section on my ShopMy page that I update multiple times a week, if not every day! It’s packed with fantastic finds at accessible prices. Right now, a few personal highlights are . . .

Apple Cider Aperol Spritz Recipe: Sip Into Fall

I shared a boozy apple cider recipe early ten (!!) years ago, but that one was made with bourbon (or whiskey). Very tasty, but also very strong. What if you want something a little lower ABV? That’s where this spritz comes in. I know you might wonder, does apple cider go with Aperol? Trust me! It works. The combination is suprisingly great. You have the citrusy bitterness of Aperol and sweet, spicy fresh cider. A bright and bubbly start with a warm apple-cinnamon finish. Perfect for fall sipping. This is my ideal transitional cocktail: refreshing enough for early fall, but with delicious fall flavors.
