The Up Next Edit, Vol. 4

Because fall and winter are when I feel most like myself getting dressed, I’m more relaxed about building out my warm-weather wardrobe. Historically, it’s been an afterthought. This year feels different. Instead of feeling stumped by lighter layers and a more neutral palette, I’m actually a bit challenged by it in a way that feels exciting. It’s less about filling gaps, and more about rethinking how simplicity can still feel intentional. This roundup leans into pieces that do a little more. The Black Tie Edit

A few weeks ago, we published our quarterly wedding guest edit with what to wear to all of your Spring events. But more than a few of you reached out: what about something more formal and black-tie! So here we are, back with a stunning edit of more formal gowns and accessories. Personally, I love a black-tie gala and wish I had more of them. If it were me, going off to something more formal, I would wear this chartreuse dress (honestly such a great price!), this wooden tassel clutch, nd a simple pair of strappy sandals (just got these and absolutely love them). Hair slicked back in a low, sleek bun, a big earring . . . good to go!

Long Shorts

If there’s one trend I’m excited about, it’s this whole longer shorts thing. I dipped my toe in the water with this pair from Staud, but also ordered this chartreuse pair. It’s going to feel really weird at first. It did for me, but now this length is starting to feel normal and short shorts are starting to feel, well . . . short! I’ve gotten used to this newer silhouette, and I love it. The extra coverage is frankly very nice, and now I’m wearing them for everything from errands and lounging at home to dinner and drinks. Happy Pieces for Spring Under $200

We are back with our biweekly edit of under-$200 favorites. There are so many great pieces to love right now, especially as I think about what I want to wear this Spring.
