I’m kind of obsessing over MAC’s Haught and Naughty Lash Mascara right now.  The fun packaging (glitter and hot pink!?  hello!)  would be enough to catch my attention, but it’s really the innovation that’s got me obsessing today.

Massive Twitter Giveaway!

Exciting news – I just realized that Stripes & Sequins’ one year twitter-versary is tomorrow!  In honor of it, Stripes & Sequins is hosting a massive giveaway when we hit 1000 followers.  (We’re at 944 right now… so close!!!) The winner will get a pile of cosmetic & beauty products… (including some Sally Hansen Salon Effects, which you can’t find anywhere right now and the AMAZING and NEW Benefit Eye Cream that I blogged about earlier this week… it doesn’t even hit counters until April 1st.)  No junk or scraps… all good stuff that I will be legitimately sad to part with.

Once again, the weekend is here, and once again, I’m totally fried!  It was another crazy week at work.  All I want to do is curl up in a ball with a big cup of tea and have a movie marathon.  Love and Other Drugs is finally out on Apple TV, and I’ve still never seen Casablanca… maybe I’ll tackle those this weekend..

Currently Craving… Calypso St. Barth’s Color Collection

Calypso just launched their “color collection” for Spring, and it’s pretty much amazing.  Gorgeous dresses, bright flowing cardigans, pretty accents for home…  I’m obsessing over, well, all of it.  I’m particularly smitten with the blue collection which has a fab ikat bag and some great striped pieces.  See for yourself here.

Beauty DIY – the Perfect Faux Bronze Glow

My friend Ashley, who runs the popular health & fitness blog, Healthy, Happier Bear, recently asked me to do a self-tanning tutorial.  I agreed but instantly felt just the tiniest big shameful.  The thing is, once-upon-a-time, I had the whole self-glow thing down to a science.  Still do, if you ask me, but lately I’ve just been too busy to get a hair cut, let alone self-tan!
