It’s been a minute since my last round of beauty empties (four months, to be exact – see my last beauty empties post here!) but today I am back with another round! I keep my empty bottles in a bag next to my desk and like to wait til it is nice and full so that I have a lot of stuff to share with you. Today we’re back with a new post (and video) with everything I’ve used up over the past four months.
These are some of my most favorite and cherished products – you’ve probably heard me talk about them before (or feature them in previous empties series!). It’s always fun to watch the pile add up and then see what I used up… I often forget!
I filmed an empties video where I talk a little more about each of the products I used…. head here to watch the video!
Here’s what I used up, in order of mentions.
- Dr. Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream (my most favorite face cream // holy grail… read my review here!)
- True Botanicals Body Oil
- Necessaire Eucalyptus Body Wash
- Ren Body Serum
- Seaweed Bath Co Eucalyptus Body Scrub (read all about this company here!)
- Beautycounter Cleansing Balm
- Beautycounter Face Oil
- Vapour Deodorant (Palo Santo + Blood Orange)
- Glamsquad Dry Shampoo
- Glamsquad Texturizing Finishing Spray
- Shu Uemura Sheer Lacquer Hair Spray
- Mauli Purifying Rituals Body Scrub
Tell me what you used up this month in the comments! I’m always so curious about that as the products we use to the last drop are the products we love the most!
Thanks for sharing your empties, Grace! I haven’t used up any of my current products in a long time – not because I don’t like what I’m using but because I often buy in huge tubs, haha.

haha! thanks Charmaine.
You always use such luxurious and amazing products, I wish my empties were as great as yours haha
aw thanks Marta. Def a big product nerd. x
I feel like this sounds like a silly question – but when you use so many different products, particularly on your face, how do you know what’s “working”? Obviously how a product feels on your skin immediately is pretty easy to gauge, but I have the hardest time telling if something is making my skin look better/reducing fine lines/etc. My limited understanding is that it takes weeks to see the full effect of something, so it seems like it would be difficult to tell where the results are coming from if you switch up products a lot? I would love to hear your thoughts on this!
p.s. I know most of these empties weren’t face products, just a question that’s been on my mind generally 🙂
Hey Julie,
First – you sort of answered that; you’ll see that only three products I used up are for face; a cleanser, an oil, and a cream!
Testing products is a big part of my job so I’ve really got it down to a science. I don’t know how long you have been reading here but I try to be really good about showing what I’m testing and what the process looks like! Anything that gets featured here on the blog gets tested for two weeks, at a minimum. I try to only test one or two new products at a time (so maybe an eye cream and a serum) while keeping the rest of my routine completely the same; that way I can tell if I’m seeing a difference and what the benefits are.
Hope that helps!
Some of my recent empties (and faves) have been the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask and the Estee Lauder Night Repair Serum! Both some of the best products I own!
I LOVE THE JET LAG MASK!!!! ANR is fab too!!!
It is fun to see the empties! For me; Mad Hippie vitamin C serum. You know that Skincueticals vitamin C ferulic acid one everyone raves about? This one works great and @ $30 instead of $150 I used to spend. Fresh advanced therapy lip treatment which I put on before bed. A shame, I love the stuff and didn’t realize they put BHT in it! One of the many ingredients I want to avoid. I’ll have to find something new. Thayer’s rose witch hazel and Rodil collagen drops. Nice ,but for the price I didn’t find it amazing. Now trying several of the Beauty-pie products, including their vitamin C capsules.
Ooh that sounds great!! Thanks for the recs.
So wish could’ve seen a difference with Dr. Bader. Had such high hopes. I used faithfully just as directed and didn’t see any noticeable changes in my skin. It is a nice thick creme, but was disappointed that I didn’t see a result. I’ve been going to the same aesthetician for monthly facials for over 10 years. I didn’t disclose to her that I was using it to see if she would note a change, but no. Maybe I needed to use for more of an extended period of time?? Nonetheless it is a nice creme and people respond differently.
Aw I’m so sad to hear that!!!
I love this! Can you let me know your thoughts on the Ren brand? I got a sample in my Sephora Play box (thank you for that influence!) this month and I really like the tonic, but I have not heard a lot of the brand. Any thoughts would be helpful!
As always, love all your content!
It is a great brand! I’ve loved everything i’ve tried and I like that it’s clean 🙂
Ahhh I use the same Ren Body serum!

Isn’t it wonderful??
You sent me the Vapour Deodorant as part of your wellness giveaway and man, it spoils you for sure, it’s so great!
UGH It is so good!!!!!!
I just used up my Farmacy Green Clean (luckily a new one arrived just in time!), and I’m almost out of Thayer’s (with a backup already on hand).
Yessss! I am almost done with my Green Clean too; and already have a backup waiting for me!
