Just a little micro post today with what was probably my biggest beauty revelation of summer 2023: apricot blush! Nothing makes you look prettier. I am more tan than I usually would be (thank you tan-luxe water!) as I typically avoid the sun as best as possible, and it doesn’t work as well on tan skin… but on paler skin? Just the best. I will be continuing to use this product all fall long. And I like to use it with Jones Road Beauty’s blush brush (the fluffiest, softest, best blush brush!), dusting it around my hairline (I have no idea why but a makeup artist did this to me once so now I always put blush here!) and onto the apples of my cheeks.
Apricot Blush
I really love this one from Gucci Beauty. Besides being the perfect shade of apricot, the packaging is beautiful and it is very long-wearing (yes even for a powder blush!). It’s $49 which is more of a luxury price point. For something mid-range, try this cream blush from Fenty (shade is Peach Face!). And for something at a drugstore point, ColourPop has us covered (shade is Shortbread).
