Kelly’s Chic Under $100: Activewear.

kelly's chic under $100: affordable activewear - the stripe

Picture this: You’re in a bit of a fitness rut, and can’t really motivate yourself to get  moving. Whether you have a routine already and just need to switch things up, or you have zero routine and are basically starting from the fitness level of a potato (like I did a few months ago), you just need that push to get over the slump and kick your butt into gear.

Now, imagine you just picked up a bunch of new gym clothes. Why wouldn’t you want to show them off? You look great in them, they convey the I-just-had-my-green-juice-and-now-I’m-headed-to-the-gym vibe, and they are super comfortable. Fitness motivation at it’s finest, if you ask me! Here are 20 affordable picks to help you kick things up a notch, just in time for summer. Check out some of my favorites:

  • This sports bra is my new favorite for mid-impact sports and is long enough to act as a crop top with some high-waisted leggings. I wear it on runs, and it fits the bill perfectly. For reference: I wear a 34D and take a size 8 in this.
  • I recently picked up this gym bag on Farfetch after eyeing it for months on Shopbop (that conversion rate made things a bit cheaper across the pond! It’s also on Selfridges for under $100). It’s big enough to fit my yoga mat but light enough to carry around daily to the gym.
  • This natural antibacterial spray is incredible – use it to spray down your mat or equipment. This is my key after sweaty yoga sessions (or for at-home workouts).
  • S’well’s water bottles keep water cold for hours. Highly recommend.

Hope these things help motivate you as much as they do me! Add a great playlist and you’ll be a fitness buff in no time.

Xx – Kelly

I love that blush bra! I don’t know if I missed it, or just am technologically challenged, but could you share what that is? Your writing is so funny! I love your metaphor about the potato! ha! I seriously get excited to go to Pure Barre if I have cute clothes (ps– you should try Pure Barre!!! I have been going for about 3 years, and I have made so many new friends, and my body has completely changed for the better).
