A Week of Outfits 5.19.21

We are back with another real life outfit diary. And I will say it again: getting dressed feels so good! I think I will make this a regular feature again, now that (at least for now) we are putting on pretty clothes again.

Also I laugh because I sure do love my Loeffler Randall Emilia sandals. I have them in both gold and leopard and wear them so much. They’re just so easy (and cute) and I walk a lot (for a few of the meals I mentioned, I walked over a mile to get to dinner!) and they’re really comfortable. The gold is actually my second pair… I wore my first pair until they literally fell apart!

Loeffler Randall Emilia sandals

Monday

I had lunch with Liz and Hayden! I wore this Hofmann Copenhagen dress from Rent the Runway. (Use my code RTRGRACE for 40% off the first two months of an 8 or 16 item plan!) I paired them with the Loeffler sandals in leopard. Later that night I added my fav Theory blazer (sadly a few years old) + Palmgrens bag for dinner at Little Jack’s – they have the best burgers. (Top photo!)

Tuesday

I had a shoot and a few other things but mostly just wanted to feel cute (anyone else just more productive when they put on a dress?) so wore this dress. It is old (a very good Target find from last summer). Paired it with my fav Loeffler Randall leopard heels and the gold earrings I bought on vacation in Cartagena a few years ago.

Update: I know from Instagram that people loved this dress – this Madewell dress is very very similar to the one I have on!

Wednesday

Worked from home + a lunch meeting. Wore this Nicholas dress from Rent the Runway. (Use my code RTRGRACE for 40% off the first two months of an 8 or 16 item plan!) Paired it with my fav Loeffler Randall gold heels.

Madewell top

Thursday

I just worked from home all day. I wasn’t going to bother with a pic but really love this Madewell top! It’s great with skirts too.

Friday

I met Jess and her husband Neal for dinner at Basic Kitchen (and cocktails after at Vintage Lounge). I wore this pretty white top + this green maxi skirt from Mirth (a favorite small brand – their pieces are incredible!) and also this necklace from Mignonne Gavigan. Wore these leopard Loeffler Randall heels again!

velvet Loeffler Randall heels

Saturday

I was a total slob most of the day but ended up taking a shower around 9pm and meeting friends at Bin 152 (my fav local wine bar) for dinner. I wore this Misa dress (from a few years ago, this one is cute!), my fav gold Ippolita hoops, and my (another pair, this time velvet) Loeffler Randall heels.

yellow & white stripe bikini

Sunday

I had a little pool day! It was so nice to just spend a few hours in the sunshine. I wore this yellow & white stripe bikini and matching sarong from Summersalt. I bought this little outfit three years ago so sadly it is no longer available.

Gosh, I love your style & so appreciate you mixing old pieces & new or rented. Shows how you invest in quality rather than just fast fashion you’re pushing for quick likes.

Thanks Anne! I do love fast fashion too but try to mix things up!!! And you never know when something you buy at Target is going to last and last (like that little white dress!)

I love summersalt, I got a suit last year from there and didn’t have anywhere to wear it… hopefully this summer. They are such great suits.
The little peaks into your apartment look great so far!
