For this post, we are going to focus on four of my favorite Biossance products but I want to stress that I love everything this brand makes. The only product I’ve tried from them that wasn’t for me personally is the eye gel (not cream; adore the eye cream) but so many people I know love it… I think I just need something a little more hydrating.
I like to highlight Biossance’s key ingredient… it’s in all of their products: SQUALANE.
Biossance’s squalane is one of the things that a) makes their products so effective but b) makes me love them even more as a brand… they are a really good company, doing great things for the planet. The body produces its own version (known as squalene). But as we age, our body’s ability to produce and retain squalene decreases. Squalane is traditionally harvested from shark livers (awful!) which has a devastating impact on the environment.
Biossance has found a way to derive their 100% plant-based squalane sustainably, from sugarcane. Squalane is in all of their products, and it is a weightless oil that instantly locks in moisture. That’s one of the reasons I love their lactic acid so much; the products are ultra-effective without drying out your skin.
Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum
This is one of Biossance’s newest launches and quickly became an instant obsession. I did a longer review of it here but the important thing to know is that this goes on first after cleansing and toning, and you will notice an instant plumping effect and hydration.
Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum
I am such a broken record about this product but it is the absolute best. Truly. It is hands down, my favorite Biossance product. If you buy one thing from this sale, I would say to 100% make it this. It’s my favorite acid, and what I love is that it delivers smoother, glowy skin in literally ONE NIGHT. The results are insane. Your skin will be noticeably smoother and glowy in literally one use. And with time, the results get better and better. I have been using this for a few years now and have repurchased multiple times.
What makes it special and different from other acids on the market is that it also contains that squalane, which allows for powerful exfoliation and smoothing without drying out the skin. You will notice a massive difference the next day. Smoother, radiant skin – without any dryness or irritation. I make sure to use it 2-3x a week. Best lactic acid serum ever.
Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream
This is one of my favorite eye creams. It’s really, really hydrating, which makes it great for dry skin. I’ve talked about it in several blog posts now, but the other amazing thing about it that it delivers a lifted look, almost immediately… smoothing and firming the under eye area. (It’s an Allure Best of Beauty winner for good reason – those awards are no joke!).
Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream
I do want to take an extra minute to talk about this moisturizer. I use a lot of active products (and as you saw above, Biossance makes so many of my favs ) but earlier this month I had the most frustrating bout of dermatitis… pesky bumps on my cheeks that wouldn’t go away no matter what I tried. So I got a facial and my aesthetician told me it was likely a histamine reaction and to stop using any actives immediately and to go down to just a basic cleanser and a thick, comforting moisturizer. This moisturizer did the trick. It’s the perfect basic moisturizer and really good if your skin is upset. Sometimes, less is more and giving your skin a break from actives is the way to go.

Just ordered through you! Love the eye cream and the rose oil.
I *love* the way the repair cream feels… but for some reason, the batch I got last time smelled like Smartfood every time I put it on haha. I kept making all my friends smell it but they couldn’t, so… I don’t know what’s wrong with me and that eye cream. But it feels LUSCIOUS.
Oh no!!! That is so strange. It could have been a bad batch in which case I would absolutely email the brand, I am sure they would replace, their customer service team is so helpful!!!
I actually just purchased my first products through them last week thanks to your blog posts about them! I wanted a facial mist so I ordered theirs and also got samples of their repair cream and eye cream. This past winter, my skin was dryer than usual and my old standbys weren’t working. After just one day of the repair cream and facial mist, I noticed a huge difference! My skin is so much softer and glowy. I’ve never found an eye cream I’ve liked and this one is IT! I immediately purchased full size of the repair cream and eye cream!
I also have to say that they send soooo many generously sized samples! I think after just two orders I have samples of almost every product they have? Great for trying out new things and for travel size of the repair and eye cream!

I discovered Biossance through you and now their products make up a majority of my skincare routine! I love that they are natural, sustainable products AND so effective, especially for my sensitive skin. It’s awesome that this sale comes right before the Sephora spring sale, I’m looking forward to your Sephora post too!

Hands down the Biossance. I haven’t used Honeymoon Glow for a while. I really liked it but found that this gives the same results with less irritation.
