It’s been a minute since I did a round-up of favorite things: a solid mix between things I’ve bought and things I’m coveting! It’s funny – I didn’t really see a theme here til I looked at the finished collage, but there’s definitely been a theme with what I’ve been buying. Short wrap dresses, creamy sweaters, black blazers?
Black Blazers
I definitely had a hole in my wardrobe re: black blazers. I bought this one from Club Monaco and Veronica Beard gifted me this one. They’re perfect to wear over a little dress or dress up jeans and a tee or camisole.
Short Wrap Dresses
On the dresses front, I did a bit of investing. I have a huge amount of events and dinners and holiday parties for work this month and next so I bought a few new dresses (this – great price but size up, this, and this). And this is the rainbow wrap dress of my dreams from Tanya Taylor! My winter party uniform is basically going to be one of those little dresses, opaque black tights and black booties, topped up with either the tuxedo jacket or the amazing Veronica Beard satin blazer.
Beauty
On the beauty front I’m all about getting as much glow as possible. This Indie Lee cleanser is an old fav and great for that. And when I was in LA and met with Dr. Dennis Gross at Sephoria, he told me that I NEED this serum to help with brightening and also stimulate collagen production. So I’ve started testing it and will of course report back, but I like it a lot so far. Also on the glow front: my favorite glow-getting primer (I’ve talked about it countless times on my blog + insta but this stuff is MAGICAL).
The rest is a mix of cozy + sparkly. I’m thinking my Thanksgiving outfit will involve this sweater + these giant pearl earrings! (And maybe a fun headband, depending on the state of my hair.)

Thanks for sharing your favourites! I’ve never heard of Indie Lee before, but the cleanser sounds really nice! ❤️✨

Oh it’s a great brand! Hopefully she will expand her distribution, you’d love!
I can’t remember…have you tried the Dr. Gross alpha beta peel pads? I would be interested to hear your thoughts before trying them myself.
YES! I have and I love them. Long time fan especially for travel!
Ooooh that Tanya Taylor dress is so fun and perfect for the holidays!

Thanks, Jae!
hi! I’ve been heavily influenced by your picks lately, e.g., currently wearing Jet Lag mask and planning to wear a Veronica Beard dress you featured tomorrow. But I’ve always been curious if I’m supporting blogs the right way – is the only way you get credit if I click thru a blog link and buy immediately? Or do you still get credit if I look at something you link to on Sephora and then come back and buy it on Sephora later? I imagine it’s not that straightforward, but appreciate any guidance you can share to make sure I’m effectively supporting your brand this holiday season. Thanks!
Hi Shannon,
That is so thoughtful of you to ask!
The way it works for “getting credit” is that it’s the last link you clicked to that site.
If you click a link on my blog and make a purchase immediately, I will get credit. But say you click on a link to Nordstrom on my blog, and then go to another blog or a site like Refinery and Vogue and click their link to Nordstrom (even if it’s a different product), they will get credit.
So what I do is I always click on my blog before making a purchase. I hope that helps! It’s so thoughtful of you to even care/ask!
Beautiful mood board!
Love it so much!
Could you please make a blog post tutorial on how to create this?! Or maybe some advice to link?!
Thanks ☺️

Hey Diana – we use Photoshop to do all of our graphics. I’m sure there are great tutorials out there! 🙂
