I’m back from Charleston and already planning my next trip back. We had such a fun trip and I was so grateful + honored to get to be a panelist at The Southern C Summit. If you’ve never been, and want to see a bit of Charleston + network with some amazing creatives, I highly recommend it… add to your list for next year! I was sad to leave Charleston but also a bit relieved to get home… I’ve been traveling so much that I feel really behind on both work and life! This week I plan on hunkering down and getting as much work done as possible… and getting organized! My apartment is basically one big exploded suitcase, so I’m looking forward to giving it a deep clean. Sometimes I’m just amazed by how quickly it can get so messy… I consider myself a pretty tidy person, but when I’m traveling, all bets are off!
I talked about this yellow dress a bit in this post about lemon yellow. Yellow is definitely my favorite color right now – it’s happy, fun, and looks good on blondes. I scooped up a second yellow dress while in Charleston… this little cold shoulder number from Apiece Apart!
PS – We’ll be alternating between Charleston, New York, and Bermuda over the coming week(s)… I shot a lot during both trips!
Outfit Details: Draper James Dress (also love the matching skirt + shorts!) // Charleston Rice Bead Necklace (the best basic!) // J.Crew Earrings // J.Crew Espadrilles // Chanel Quilted Mini 2.55 Bag (Vintage)
Also, Let’s talk about sequined earrings. I’m so bummed that my earrings sold out as they are my FAVORITE. These are still available at J.Crew (and they are on sale), and this BaubleBar pair is really fun (+ only $36). Shourouk also makes some cool sequin earrings (this pair, this pair + this pair are completely stunning), and I fell down an Etsy rabbithole looking for sequin earrings last night. I ended up finding this pink pair and this vintage pair which is just all out amazing – someone please buy them!!!

You look beautiful! So fun seeing you on your monthly Charleston visit ; ) Miss you already!
Hi Grace! I love this post.. I went to the College of Charleston my freshman year of college and love seeing your posts in areas I used to walk around 🙂 Plus this dress is too cute! Just wanted to add that your earrings are not actually sold out – I work at J.Crew and we still have a ton of pairs left as do other stores! I would suggest to those still looking to call your local J.Crew and see if there are still any available!!
thank you so much for the Intel!!! good to know they are still in store! 🙂
You do bright so well! The wall, the dress, the earrings. The earrings! They aren’t for me but you are killing them.
