Hello, and happy Thursday. So. This dress. I bought it at Hampden Clothing while in Charleston a few weeks ago. Hampden is always a must when we’re visiting. My friend Stacy (read her profile here) has such a fantastic eye and stocks the greatest stuff.
Back to this dress. Stacy suggested it and I thought it was pretty but wasn’t totally sold on it until I tried it on and fell in love with the cut. It got me to thinking though, I do so much of my shopping online. It’s rare, these days, for me to actually go into an actual store and try something on. And that’s a bit of a bummer because when you get to try things on you always end up with the most flattering version of whatever it is you are looking for.
The dress is now sold out but RT stocks several other variations on her website. You know by now that I’m a big Rebecca Taylor fan but what I love most is how versatile this dress is. You can wear it all year long. It’s cute now with over the knee boots… will be great all summer long, and in the Fall it will be equally lovely under a leather jacket. An A+ when it comes to versatility!

Such a great point about online shopping, it’s been awhile since I’ve actually visited a store. Which is weird because I used to be so against online shopping! Lol. This is the perfect winter to spring/summer dress.
